Being a bit harsh on Schoenberg to leave him out in favour of "draft pick".
Or in favour of Jones.
Harry's gonna be a star of this competition from next year.

You are just on some sort if crusade at the moment... so feel free to continue, but the reality is this year we played more younger players.
Being wrong is a difficult concept for you to grasp isn't it.
I don't see any downside in us nominating him as a father son...
We can still take him in the rookie draft if no one bids right? At least by nominating we have a right of reply if a bid does come in + the discount.

Not really, you've just got too high an opinion of yourself. How am I wrong? I've identified that there were only a handful of senior players dropped all year and at least as many examples of selections against a rebuild strategy, ie Mackay ahead of Sholl by a month. But, you might be referring to list management ent which I see you gut mixed up with in a previous post. You don't follow conversations too well, it's a common weakness of yours.
He’s living in the past despite a change in regime and the hardest cut back I’m of a list in terms of a rebuild with the north melbourne in the whole comp
in 2021 we will have 14+ players in our best 22 with less than 50 games experience and we will struggle but hope they can develop
We need our senior players and we need them to play better
Keep swinging slugger, one day you'll connect with one and it might make it past 2nd base.I'm living in the present, you're dreaming of the future. The very last selection decisions we made was to play Mackay and Gibbs ahead of Hamill and Hartigan ahead of Butts or McAsey. This cultural shift at selection has not changed yet, we selected experience ahead of development all the way to round 18 2020. It astounds me that you think there's evidence that contradicts our most recent actions.
Do you really believe that a Tex that can't run or use both arms in a marking contest needs to play purely because he's got 200+ games under the belt? You will prefer to see one of McPherson, Hamill or Sholl in the SANFL so Mackay can bring his 200+ games as well. And you think this accelerates our rebuild? There's apologists, and then there's you.
Or in favour of Jones.

Faded in and out still, which is as much fitness as it is raw ability.I'd be very (and it goes without saying, pleasantly) surprised if Harry was a star of this comp next season.
Seems too soon, especially as he was a bit on the raw side. Talent is certainly there though, but really, plan on 2022-2023 for Harry to make that step up.

Lol, Atkins never came back in... hence he was traded.Atkins did his shoulder, he wasn't dropped. You said some senior players were dropped when only Seed and Mrouch were dropped in your time frame with Mrouch returning week after. As I said, mostly kids replaced seniors out of necessity, not choice.
We (club & player) need to agree to the F/S nomination before the ND.I thought that if we nominated a player for the ND, they needed to be taken in the ND (by another club, by us matching a bid, or by us as our last pick/s). And then if they aren't nominated or taken in the ND then we can nominate them before the RD and take them with our last pick/s there. Wasnt that what happened with Ben Jarman and Jackson Edwards? They may have changed these rules since and I am unaware of it though, so happy to be corrected.

Crows roll the dice with father-son prospect Ben Jarman
Crows will head into next week's draft with no rights over Ben Jarmanwww.afl.com.au
Edit: Looking at the articles on each, that was definitely the case with Jarman. Not so sure if it had changed the next year with Edwards.
Would need to have improved his tank significantly as well to do thatI'd be very (and it goes without saying, pleasantly) surprised if Harry was a star of this comp next season.

You've been called out by posters on the issue of selection yet you keep turning it back in other directions.
Mate, it's ok to be wrong.... Just admit it for a change.
That would give us 36 senior listThe AFL article yesterday seemed to indicate that we'll be taking 4 players in the ND - TOTAL. That includes our NGA & F/S selections, which indicates that we're only planning on taking 1 of them in the ND (presumably Borlase).
Correct. That would give us 36 senior list
Yawn
I agreed with you in the past when Pyke was there but you’re off the mark here massively by not moving on
anyway, we’ve chopped out list up deliberately to play these young guys and it will be more so in 2021
And Hatley so 37Correct.
No, Hately is included in the 36.And Hatley so 37
We (club & player) need to agree to the F/S nomination before the ND.
If the player is selected in the ND, by another club, we have the right to match the bid (with a 20% points discount).
If the player is not selected in the ND, we can automatically add them to our rookie list, using our last selection in the rookie draft. No other club can select them in the RD. The original nomination carries over to the RD - there's no second nomination.
Lol, Atkins never came back in... hence he was traded.
Seed only returned for 1-2 games when we had injuries, but Sholl preferred
We didn't play the younger guys out of necessity whilst these older guys sat it out.
You have your agenda & you are sticking to it despite evidence to the contrary.
Keep doubling down if you must but the facts are we blooded plenty of newbies this season at the expense of older players.
I keep counting 33 because I included keaysNo, Hately is included in the 36.
We currently have 31 on our senior list. Hately makes 32. 4x ND selections makes 36.
based on what we have been able to see to date, Borlace looks like the biggest improver and is absolutely worth a list spot as a developing quality defender. They must be fairly sure Newchurch is a long way back and won't get a bid and likewise Edwards, they would be thinking he is unlikely to attract a lot of interest in this draft with a low number of picks expected to be usedSo 5AA say we will match bids on Borlase. But leave Newchurch to the rookie draft. Edwards to go into open draft. Nominations to be completed by next week.
