Delivery doesn't need to be very good when you have three talls. Kick it long and on top of their heads and all they have to do is provide a contest or clunk the pill.

I disagree. With the loose man most teams play in defence anything that isn’t to advantage is neutralised or intercepted, intercepts or quick clearances are very quickly converted to a counter attack. This is further exacerbated with talls as they can’t apply the same tackle pressure and repeat efforts to lock the ball in the 50.

We don’t have three Travis clokes in the forward line. We have mediocre talls who need quick and optimal delivery to mark the ball and goal.

I just want us to take risks. If they don’t come off who cares. We almost won the 2018 GF by cutting into the middle from the backline. Sure on occasions it cost us goals, but it was what opened the game up for us and enables almost all our forwards to kick 40 goals

How's everyone going with their prep work for Friday nights game.. spent a good 3hrs in me infinity pool today.. soaked up a few rays.. so bronzed up a lil.. not your full on summer tan.. but not too bad for late March I suppose.

this 100%. Play to to win. Kicking 50m to a contest, moving the ball forward fast, and creating perceived pressure, is better than 5 handballs just to keep possession .

Think the key to victory is to keep the game tight and contested, plenty of tackling, and try to avoid a game of keepings off with the new rules on the wide MCG ground. Bulldogs look a team who could be suited.

Opposite for me. Avoid the contest as much as possible, otherwise we're essentially asking Adams and DeGoey to take down Macrae, Treloar, Dunkley, Libba... did I forget anyone?

Use the full width of the ground, fast ball movement, choose when to go and when you go, go quick.

I think we'll play a possession-based game but hopefully that doesn't mean we stop taking risks and dry up our scoring opportunities.

I think our defence is more than capable of shutting down their forwards. It just depends if we can score enough.

Only drink on the weekend these days so will get a box of piss, might give the coopers pacific a go. Need to get some charcoal for the weber, got some lamb chops off my mate on the farm. Think I’m sorted, any suggestions for the chops?
