The most obvious comparison is Mitch Duncan getting tackled in the GCS game and knocked out.

But Hawkins is foolish and won’t learn to manage his frustration. He was clearly tackling with “intent” if you watch the lead up 30 seconds prior. Someone seriously needs to give him a whack and tell him to pull his head in. For such an unselfish player, he’s very selfish with some of these dumb acts.

He knew exactly what he was doing so don’t defend him.

Reading a lot of the comments to that tweet, they disagree with the idea of a suspension and saying it was unfortunate that there was a head contact with ground

And that's from folks who say they aren't Geelong or Hawkins fans
