I gave you a like for a terrible pathetic troll attempt.... Easy to destroy you're statement as Eddie McGuire put a 100th rung candidate in charge for a decade with zero coaching experience in Nathan Buckley who helped put the pies in this rebuild hole. Collingwood are better off anyway with any new coach who has years of experience than the last decade under Buckley who had none.

I wonder why Pyke doesn't want to go through a formal process? Afraid he will be wasting his time with another potential coach already earmarked? Or he just can't handle the pressure?

Appointing a good coach should be easy enough. Just do the opposite to what Carlton does.....

I'm assuming one of the candidates is Ross Lyon who only takes teams that are ready to compete and a second would be Clarkson who is out. 3rd Pyke?

He said he was called by Graham Wright and declined the opportunity, due to a number of factors, was actually quite candid.

My mail is someone else who interviewed for the collingwood job has since contacted Ross Lyon with the intention of joining Carlton alongside him as an assistant.
