Looking at a few of the phantom drafts over the past few months and the list is long , I would say anything down to 45 players or so have been mentioned in drafts of 20 to 30

This is just a natural consequence of many of the players having no exposed form, so there’s a lot more guesswork from everyone.

I'd imagine you're younger than I am. I'm middle aged and my patience is worn...I have to be sparing with what's left. The same goes for trusting ANY organisation 100%.
At my age it's all been simplified to suit myself. I appreciate guys whom work hard, crack in, make an effort and try their best. Having kids did that to me...I get pissed with those that don't, and get proper pissed with self entitled fu**s that do nothing when things don't go their way.
I am aware that I may hold the world's smallest violin, but it's tuned to my song...and you will all have to pry it from my cold dead hands to get it 🎻🤣

Agree on all of that tj!

I agree with Billings I would’ve much rather lose him than Ross because to me Jack was meant to be a match winner but somehow he’s turned into a nothing player who only gets on the end of it when things are going well. Higgins has overtaken him already IMO but if they think he’s worth keeping then I’ll back them in and hopefully it pays off.
It has been analysed to death but you cant expect or demand a player to be a match winner. It is not his fault that he was over rated by many. Taken as Pick 3, the club erred, as a pick that high should be a topliner instead they picked a HFF hoping to turn him into something he wasnt. He has been GOP over 7-8 years. What annoyed me was his kicking for goal over a period of time which was ordinary for an AFL player. Now they have given him a 4 yr contract. He has not won a B&F and Seb has won 2 although I rate Billings higher. IMO neither will improve and have no real goal kicking accuracy and I dont think other clubs wanted them which tells you something. Dunstan actually looked like he was getting better but coming off a lower base but he saw the writing on the wall towards the end.

Both Ross and Billings are solid soldiers and with Billings he is probably a bit above that. We don't have a great amount of depth so losing three senior solid players was going to put us back a couple of years from playing finals again potentially as we waited for kids to develop. There is nothing wrong with them being in our best 10-20 players long term.....as long as they are paid in that bracket, not in our best 5. Both are adaptable players. Getting rid of players because you're disappointed that they aren't champions sounds like toddlers shit. If that was the criteria we'd only have one player.

Agree, all 3 are solid soldiers, Dunstan will be gone so need another midfielder. Cant see Billings and Ross in the midfield. Both are capable of playing a role as long as some class is injected into the side for 2022 otherwise we are top 6 at the very best. The club has basically moved no regular player on as yet so where is the change? Robertson and others delisted dont count as they have not been playing. Internal improvement will be heavily relied upon for 2022.

Not sure what the go is with Gears. Do you reckon he’ll even get a swan song game next year???

Gears is no long an auto selection but could be useful in clutch games [emoji6]

GREATER Western Sydney midfield bull Jacob Hopper's career-best season has been rewarded with a fresh two-year contract extension - Mitch Cleary

His career seems to have stalled.

If you were to name the Saints team in one column, and the Sandy team in another, then perhaps he simply needs a column shift [emoji6]

Jordan Dawson- anyone else keen on this guy? Would be a great fit..
