I wouldn’t. Based on the little we’ve seen I think he has a good point of difference in the forward line. And he’s a smart player.
I wouldn't either, but it makes sense from a Gold Coast point of view, pretty sure he played his TAC cup footy with Rowell and Anderson. Would help them consolidate a young core thats more than likely to stay together.

I can’t stand trade radio. Not bothering with it this year.

I can’t see us trading anyone in when we want to use pick 9 & also accumulate later points for the NGA guys. I can definitely see someone leaving though. Hope it’s not Long. He’s one of the minority who plays with passion.
It’s a chance for a win for everyone if we can get a decent pick. He’d be a fair way back in the pecking order now, so injuries and really grabbing his next chance are his only hope imo. According to our track watchers he trains the house down and kills it in the practice matches.

Dal actually did get 30 possessions regularly though.
Oh stop with the facts! He was laconic!
( Did he get 30s in his first couple of years though, I can’t remember?)

His disposal is very good. Very good mark. Good eye for goal. Tough as nails, brutal tackler. That's quite a few good traits.

His main issue is he struggles to find enough of the footy, but could that be a fitness issue?
Are you talking about Long or Matty Parker?

Even though I'm totally over it and never want to hear about it again (you don't really learn from the 'mistake' when the major players have moved on anyway) I can understand that some supporters want to continue to grind their teeth about the 2014 Draft.

But the media really should shut up about it.

Whether it was right or wrong at the time, even Blind Freddie can see now in 2021 that the Saints would've been better off taking Petracca. That's a fact.

All the media is doing here is stirring things up for Paddy. It's not his fault he was selected at #1. It's not his fault he succumbed to multiple concussions. I like the big bloke and it must've been pretty crap being under the scrutiny and then to watch your whole career, your whole dream, disappear in front of your eyes.

We know the big fella has gone to some pretty dark places in recent times and that he's desperately trying to find a way back to the AFL (which most would agree appears highly unlikely).

Of course we can't stop fans banging on about it (they will simply say "I pay my membership fees blah, blah, blah ....)

But why does the media have to keep piling on about a decision that was made in 2014 and which by now is obviously been shown to be the wrong decision? What does it achieve?

Move on media scumbags.

And let Paddy move on.

100% man, It 's been 7 years. I've had kids, changed profession, bought a house, got married, buried my cat, got a dog, tried to take up skateboarding, surfing, and drums again like a middle aged idiot. Travelled, lived, loved, and simultaneously won and lost at the same time. Life is rich. Move the f*ck on. If I can do it, the rest of you can.
Paddy or Petracca. We have neither...end of story.

Both families live in Park Orchards

It's a long time ago now but I think there was talk Richo may have mentored him or helped with advise or something?

Look I disagree that he doesn’t chase I agree he ‘looks’ gassed. Also I don’t think his chasing is any worse then any comparable midfielder.

I think if you aren't getting lots of ball you want to at least look 2 way. Watching live he seems to have half the pace and energy when the ball turns over. There is a reason he's not playing as a full time mid yet.

ook obviously your entitled to your opion Gringo I just think it’s not like his chasing is any worse then any comparable player who plays as much field time as him.

We need a ceremony, like burning an effigy of Trout at Moorabin.

Stuff the effigy.

Has anyone got Elon Musk’s number? [emoji51]
