Well Clark will and soon , but you know when your always at half back, once he finally gets time he will rack it up.

I hope so, he needs to get fit still. He looks like a suburban footballer at the moment.

Stuff the effigy.

Has anyone got Elon Musk’s number? [emoji51]

Wasn't it only 2 weeks ago that him and his co-host were pressing Gags about Ben King, and wouldnt stop the follow up questions even after Gags immediately shut them down?

If you dont like clubs answering questions about those players, then you shouldn't be repeatedly asking the question.
Yep- what a bunch of flogs them two are. Healys a grumpy old prick

Healy's not exactly a deep thinker. Going after the symptom rather than the underlying disease; the AFL created a club with no natural catchment, gave it umpteen legs up but ultimately has let it wither on the vine; and is now probably the least popular destination in the AFL.

I'd never been down around that part of Sydney until I accidentally rented a hotel at Brighton Le Sands when I thought I'd got a bargain deal on one at Darling Harbour from the same chain. My wife wasn't happy. I was trying to tell her how good it was watching the planes fly in and murky waters of Botany Bay from our balcony but she didn't see the positives. I f’ed up the hire car and got a Hyundai Getz too. Elite internet booking trying to be cheap.
Pahahha. I love your stories 😂😂

Tells a tale about our list through the 10's eh?

Newnes. No trade interest, taken as DFA

Steven. 4 x BnF and traded for a junk pick

Dunstan. Delisted and zero trade interest. Likely to be taken in rookie draft.

Lonie. Shopped around twice with no interest.

Ross. 2 x BnF . No suitable interest from other Clubs so appears hes going to take our 2 year deal.

700-odd games between them.

Yeah, I was just thinking of that when it was mentioned above that GC was only interested in him as a rookie. It really means that the Saints should move the guys on. Lonie, Long, Ross, Dunstan etc

100% man, It 's been 7 years. I've had kids, changed profession, bought a house, got married, buried my cat, got a dog, tried to take up skateboarding, surfing, and drums again like a middle aged idiot. Travelled, lived, loved, and simultaneously won and lost at the same time. Life is rich. Move the f*ck on. If I can do it, the rest of you can.
Paddy or Petracca. We have neither...end of story.
Couldn't agree more. And which break are you cutting up currently?

If GCS had the balls and brains to draft both Kings, the talk would be dead in the water. Once they were separated with one going to an interstate club we were always going to have this conversation.

Another perspective.

We do the same every year with GWS players, the Giants are at least honest about it, get a 1st round pick in for a couple of years then trade him out for a couple of firsts, rinse and repeat.

I thought Healy was on 3aw. What's changed?

Someone ought to call up Gerard on his show and tell him that what's embarrassing and disrespectful is him playing dumb and pretending that there isn't a very specific set of circumstances that has led to this discussion taking place.

We've got an identical twin playing for the club he grew up supporting on the cusp of finals, and his brother playing for a club with a history of poor performance and poor player retention. We've got countless media outlets and 24 hour sports media, and he thinks the question won't be asked and answered.

You're not a dill Gerard, stop pretending you are one for the sake of being a drama queen and getting headlines.

Forget about Ben King. How would the Gold Coast look with Tom Lynch or Charlie Dixon up forward. They were poached without the twin connection or the supporter connection, and went to top clubs (a premier in fact). Where was the uproar then, you cantankerous fop?

Howard cost a first round downgrade when we were already trying to split picks. It was pretty good get on their part given what they originally drafted him with.

This is the opposite scenario now.

We are not looking to split picks. We are looking to upgrade.

Edit:

Ryder and Howard have been traded to St Kilda in a deal that sees the Power receive picks 12 and 18 at November’s NAB AFL Draft along with the Saints’ future third round selection.
Port Adelaide will also send pick 10 and a future fourth-round selection to Moorabbin.

I think its unlikely we will be in a position to upgrade our pick that way. I dont think we have the cap or picks to make it happen.

It essentially meant we got Dougs and Ryder for pick 22 with the points difference. Good deal.

Also that future 4th from Port ended up being one of the picks in the Hind trade.

Get the feeling it's a make-or-break year for Clark in 2022

He can go on to become a top-flight AA grade player or he can settle at the level of being a good solid player only.

For us to become a premiership threat we need him to do what Petrecca did in 2020 where he elevated his game and became elite.
If STEELE could help BRUCE get to the fitness never achieved before, then maybe there should be 3 or 4 young guys moving in with STEELEY over the off and pre season and get them to do everything he does and more ......CLARK, BYTEL, BYRNES CONNOLlY and whomever else might benefit from the great Capn JACKS regime.

jeez you'd hope our Strength and conditioning staff are good enough at their job that a player doesn't need to be responsible for his peers' fitness
