I see Port Adelaide have nominated Bryce Gibbs, Matthew Lobbe & Troy Menzel as Covid Top Up players & the Eagles have nominated Angus Schumacher.

I'm pleased to see Hugh Hamilton on our list. I watched him a few times in the NAB League last year & thought he was a bit of a 'roughie' for last year's draft.

Idk about your reasoning but I ultimately agree Bevo did nothing wrong.

Morris burnt a source by over using it. So whoever that leak in the dogs is that's been feeding him has now probably lost their job. That's a journalism sin

how has society gone mad? that's one of those comments like "PC gone mad" and people have been using them for a thousand years - mostly those who struggle with the concept of human evolution......

Noticed today that the NFL handed out over 30 compensatory draft picks for the teams that hired minority employees (a couple of teams got 5 picks). The first of these selections was end of 3rd round. Might be a model that the AFL could look at to try and get more indigenous coaches into the AFL (at least in assistant roles). Maybe instead of a compensatory draft pick the salary for an indigenous coach doesn't count in the soft cap?

On a side note an amazing stat from the NFL - teams who's quarterback was drafted in the 6th round of the draft have won a higher percentage of games than teams who's quarterback was drafted in the first round. Fair to say that Tom Brady has something to do with that.

How ridiculous, giving out compensatory draft picks should be purely based on performance.

"Politically Correct" is just a rebranding of the word 'respectful'. Exchange PC for 'respect', 'respectful' or 'respectfulness' in any sentence where you use the term, and see how your sentence sounds...

I’m not sure if you can ‘un-retire’.

But as Crippa said recently, “we’ve moved on”.

I know that it's not everyone's cup of tea but I had a bit of a crack at us to make the 8 this year. I think that it's the first bet I've ever had on the footy via a betting agency (I'm 62).

Backed us at $3.00. We are now $2.25. I think that we are still overs.

Zac Fisher worries me. Huge celebration with Jack when Jack kicked the goal and same again when Jack laid off to Zac s minute later.
Anyone is catching it from Jack it's Zac.

Not sure it works that way… we’d have to put him back on a contract and submit his name in list lodgement for next year for that to happen?

At the end of the day I don’t think it matters, most probable outcome is he stays unvaxxed and just keeps playing qld loca footy (unless they bring in a mandate)
