I would suggest the harder the media, at the behest of Hinkley and his manager, push the narrative that hinkley is staying/can't be sacked, the more likely it is the board is planning to sack him. They're trying to back the board into a corner and force them to honour his contract.

It wasn't that log ago we were trumpeting the engagement figures of our fan base. Cuts both ways though doesn't it. Can't have an engaged fan base and disengage when you don't like what a fair whack of them are saying.

Large sections of the media don't get what has made the club (in part) successful that expectation from its supporters to be the best, to always give your best. Not winning everything every day week and year but the expectation that you can and you strive for it or get out of the way.

Seems like the club is forgetting about it too. Prove me wrong Port. Prove to me we are not fully franchised.

The pivotal moment came in 2017 when we all knew he couldn’t coach. This is also when we found out Koch and others are just as bad at their jobs as Kenny is at coaching. What could have been if Koch wasn’t so weak and didn’t renew end of 2018 or he walked end of 2017.

I don't hate him because of his coaching. Primus was a worse coach than Hinkley and I don't hate Primus. The reason for the hatred is because of his dismissive attitude towards fans and his refusal to step down from a job that he's clearly not good enough for unless the club sacks him and pays him out, even after having already failed us for the last 10 years.

Despite me thinking he's a poor coach, if Ken had come out over the last week or two with finals now out of the question and had the integrity to say 'I acknowledge my results haven't been good enough, for the good of the club I'm moving on', I'd be happy to wish him the best. Instead he's come out to basically say 'I don't give a shit what the supporters think, I'm gonna make these people drag me out kicking and screaming, and I'm going to drain them of every cent I can on the way out'. **** him.

I feel like there is momentum there, i do wonder if there are certain members of the board/or the AFL who are resisting. I feel like Koch wants him gone but i don't think he can unilaterally make that decision.
Once again we have too many people on our board serving different masters.

He's been head of football for a considerable time. Has pretty much let Hinkley go rogue, the Maggies and development has gone down the toilet, our assistants and development coaches are trash and to top it off he's in a greyhound syndicate with staff underneath him. He's garbage.
