My nerves could do without something similar to that in our upcoming Prelim...

Still makes me so emotional. I was just a kid watching that in the lounge room and I remember my mum was ecstatic but we also didn’t want to go too crazy because my little brother was an Essendon supporter lol.
The next weekend sucked…

Has your little brother seen the error of his ways?
I have a son in law that's an Essendon fan, lucky he's a good sport!over and over again the past 20 years
Then Hird and essendon tried to rub Dunkley out
Agreed. I know there is some "buy me a coffee" websites/platforms around. I'd be happy to buy you one Ticky009 as a thank you for your efforts.Your commitment to providing the media content is above and beyond for a volunteer. I know I speak for a lot of supporters when I say we appreciate your time and effort so much.
Plus I’m one lazy bugger so it’s perfect really.

I was 16 at the time and my family and I drove up to the SCG for the qualifying final against Hawthorn and this game as well. Both thrillers. Both amazing considering how long we'd been s**t for.
We were about as far back as you could possibly get from the action. The very back wall of the top level but it was amazing. The sounds were deafening and the atmosphere was electric. I'll never forget it.
I'd been a Swan supporter since I could remember but the 1995 and 1996 seasons really ignited my love for them and I've been a rusted on swans tragic ever since.
Side note: When I was about 21 I worked at a local service station in Ballarat and Plugger came in one day to buy the paper. I told him I was a massive swans fan and had been all my life. I asked him politely if I could get his signature. He just said "No", then turned and walked out LMAO.
Yeah, I got that impression too haha.In regards to the side note, my father owned a Greyhound farm with him.
Apparently he could be grumpy at the best of times and really hated any discussion about his football (preferred to only talk about Dogs)

'Defend to the death': Three key moments that define desperate Swans
Several moments this year have highlighted Sydney's desperation in defencewww.afl.com.au
Highlights the efforts of Blakey, Rampe & Fox and their 'defend to the death' moments this season (vids included).
It is crazy that we have had three such moments in one year. It's actually surprisingly rare to have an individual moment where a player has come out of nowhere to desperately save a certain goal, as evidenced by the fact people collectively lose their minds whenever it does happen. And yet we've had three of them in two months!![]()

Got actual goosebumps watching them againCould watch those efforts 100 times and still not get sick of it
Hird said there was nothing in it . Also the vision of it was sent to the AFL by New Essendon President David Barham who was with Ch 10 i thinkI thought Hird stayed quiet on it saying nothing in it but the cut on his cheek during the Brownlow suggested otherwise. Unprecedented though as his trial was held over and he got suspended after the Grand Final. Really was a bad distraction though. Eade was being interviewed and an older lady in the crowd at training sang out that he’s free to play as she was following it on her radio.
Eade wryly acknowledged her during the interview classic
Who fromI'm sick of this Anti Swans s**t!
Why don't they ever talk about us!!!! Not one mention. It's shameful really.
