Clark was a pick #7. Dylan Smith was a pick #6 for that sake.

Clark should be entering his prime but didn't crack the top 10 of St Kilda's B&F. Probably because he only played a combined 21 games across that period. Which is a concern in itself.

His season stats were underwhelming in all categories. His career stats are a bit stronger but not elite in any area.

None of that screams 2x 2nd rounders to me. I'd pay 1x 2nd rounder at most and save my other one to bring another top 30 draft talent onto the list.

Look, Dylan Smiths job is already being filled by Will Phillips. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it, they just haven’t admitted to themselves yet.

As for Clark, I like him, he has some things which 30 blokes on our list do not have no matter how much we pretend.

Talent, class and a quality headband.

He’s been injured, he’s been played out of position due to their love affair with mediocre frauds.

I rate nobody, I rate this kid. How bout you just trust me for once and stop wasting my bandwidth with your facts, which on this occasion, don’t match the eye test.

When he has been fit and had a run at it, he does play good. 22under22 and top 10 bnf in a finals side as a 20 year old. Imagine perez did that. Clark's a good player
