Youd think Stringer is close to done, as is Tippa and Shiel. Maybe Parish is gone

Our next 2 first rounders need to be a midfielder and a key forward imo

The key forward is only not required if Weideman or H.Jones become crazy good in the next 12-24 months

Are there so few midfielders because the draft year prospects get all the minutes on the ball or is it just a weak draft for mids?

Some might just be so good forward that they dont go midfield

But thats the case

Alot of H.Reid, Watson, Moir, Duursma ect and then there are a few Peel Thunder guys who will play a fair bit of onball next year id imagine

A few of them will be seen in similar light to say a Humphry or Phillipou as FWD/MIDS ect

Then we'd be odd on in taking Will Lorenz.

First, he's the grandson of Hawthorn great Graham Arthur.

That doesn't mean a thing to us.

Shiel is pretty much as professional as it gets when it comes to physical preparation, he could comfortably play for a number of years yet if he doesn't suffer a major injury IMO.

Yep. Can easily see him playing until he's 35 or 36

I don’t know about 35-36, once he loses his speed he’s done. I doubt he’ll still have it at 35-36. Players that get that far are ones who don’t necessarily rely on speed or who can move to another position on the ground to prolong their career.

No, just well past their best now

Key forwards even at the top wnd tske many years to be right

If Weideman or Harry Jones really have a good year maybe we can get away with taking one end this year

You sortve want one coming to the fore in year 4-5 when Wrights either towards the back end or past his best

We may be able to wait till year 2024 for the key fwd at the latest
