Thanks, Tom is very comfortable with these two
Enjoyed that interview, listened to it whilst waiting in the car park that is punt road. He is comfortable with them for sure. Was coy re the AFL top job as well.

Lets kick off today with the Tom Harley interview

and then we slide into this one where Goodes & JPK gets a nod.

I'd select (in no particular order) Goodes, Kennedy, Dangerfield, Ablett, Selwood and Martin.
Apologies to Hird, Judd and Buckley but they spent only half of their best years in this century.

Swans Daily Media:

Heeney our best player stats wise. Make of it what you will

The Herald Sun have created a list of what they call the underexposed U23 Talent. Its a bit disengenous what with the inclusion of new recruits but whatever. Looking at it I'm filled with hope for the future, some local lads and some interstate talent to get excited about.

I completely forgot the AFL introduced a 5th spot on the bench for subs. This makes please like Konstanty or Mitchell more than likely of debuting.

However with so many tall men with injury clouds I imagine Ladhams will take that spot and when a small goes down injured everyone will compare Horse's decision to when he chose Seaby as a sub

Horse showed that he was firmly against debuting a player as a sub the last two seasons. Idk whether that will continue now that it's changed but I'd like to think it won't

17FEB23: Luke Parker Interview/SEN Sportsday
Article relating to Luke Parker interview on Sportsday.

Interview link; from yesterday.

Name checks Amartey as a potential fwd option along with Logan.

Couldn't stop Geelong's momentum in the GF with a lot of young players.
Players & coaching staff discussed the GF and the lead up to the game. Referenced Geelong's 83 pt loss in the PF 2021. Moved on.

Never really considered leaving prior to signing last contract (amid Essendon talk).

Confirmed Blakey back on training track, likely to play in pre-season game v Brisbane.

Counter-attacking is the way the game is going, rebounding from defence/turnovers with quick transition.

That was a great interview. Enjoyed the little moments of honesty from Parker and especially him talking about his loyalty to the club (stupid question from Healy anyway.)

Hearing Fox AND Rankin mentioned in the same video? Goosebumps...

But yes I'm glad the club has heard my calls. It seems I've started a revolution so big I'm thinking of changing my name to lenin88.

Subscribed Commissar.

I like the fact we have a lot of players that have not once run out on the field in the ones.
Last year we had so many players on our list that were has beens. Not knocking them but they were not the future.
At least with young players on your list you have potential. And we have a lot of potential!!!

Papley's interview from the Triple Ms The Rush Hour - no audio available.

The Chad

I am straight but if I looked like Nick Malceski I would not at all be unhappy.
Coaching up in Qld last I heard, great to see. This is what we want from our ex-players who choose to remain in AFL. Coaching up in Qld or NSW for that matter, so it increases the skill levels of the local football clubs.
