I'd love to see Cowan attack the game a bit more. He's done well to get games early but he almost looks like a different player for us.
So we had 7 AFL-listed players playing today, pushing for a spot in the 1s and we lose to a bunch of 18 yo’s??? Exhibition match or not, that is alarming to me.

A glorified practice session to get some game-simulated run in the legs of a few who would otherwise be sitting around during a bye. Against a cohort of eager-to-impress pre-draftees. Nothing to see here.
Surety this isn’t serious?
- lob looked like he was asked to play to fill in numbers and treat it as a training run. No one is gettign promoted out of that game.
- O’Keefe and Cowan are 1 year older than the guys the played
- Martin on managed minutes and clearly just a level up on training (looked good btw)
- fog is being delisted for sure
- boyd was ok, most of his kicking very good
- Caroll was poor first half decent second half but his career is over at blues in my view
- honey was ordinary and disappointing
None are really in our best 30 players.
We didn’t even bother playing Dom Akeui ffs.

Guess the seniors should use the same line. Just playing against a bottom 8 team it's not must win yet doesn't matter. Nothing to see here not even a finals game. 65% effort get through unscathed.

But a serious answer - I think our player development is below par including the way we develop leaders. Think there's just systemic issues from footy department down that are still lingering and will continue to manifest in inconsistent performance.

Dont really care tbh. You two are staunchly apologetic, I was. I'm not anymore - no reference point for someone my age to latch onto that this club can get it together as a whole club. I dislike the club's performances. Big whoop.
