I reckon this FA compo bullshit is because they haven't indexed the scale properly for the new pay deal (possibly deliberately or possibly just because it was too hard and they didn't care enough). In any event this just continues to be the most compromised draft to date.

All the. More reason to use pick 1.

And I would be telling all and sundry that splitting this years pick was ruled out because the draft was utterly compromised. If we could actually be confident we can access the top end talent it may have been different.

Which is pretty much the truth of it.

Other than GWS and GC, every club has been around long enough that there should be no more father-son from state leagues.

Should just retire. I don't think I've heard a player at his age so desperate to play another year he would actually go to another club. His at the age that any contract is a good one. I don't get it from his perspective. Does he know how old he is.

Eagles list boss Rohan O'Brien admitted the pre-season draft was an option for Tyler Brockman today. Tigers only expect to offer a third-rounder for Koschitzke. Suns want a fair bit for Chol given four-year deal. Hawks will have to work hard on all three deals to get fair value
