Probably the one team I reckon can afford to trade ahead for their needs. It's basically the midfield only for them. Maybe a key defender, but with the KPD depth of talent this year they'll be able to find someone

Possibly, but pick 11 is a pretty good pick. You will get a good AFL standard player with that. Trading it out for a future pick is adding risk. If one of the top players fell like Osulivan or Watson I would consider it. I’d want a pick in the top 30 + F1

Been on record early this year and would do it in a heart beat if it meant we traded out of the first round this year in a bounty of future picks (first + second ideally) for this years first. Even with the super 8 (9) I feel we wouldn't get a decent player, simply the left overs (quote me and laugh when the player we pick turns into a very decent AFL player). Just Essington things really

With 20 players out of contract in 2024, it gives us much more flexibility and depth of picks to asses and make wholesale changes.

I would in a heartbeat move out of the first, try and nab a pick in the early 20's, possibly try to stay in the 30's and get 4 picks inside 30 next year (including our own first + second)

I don’t think north will either. Maybe the eagles just take Reid. Rawlings sounded doubtful in his interview with Cal that they could meet the eagles price

Eagles are right to ask for it with north having those picks. But they’ve got rocked in their heads if they think north will give up 2 and 3

I'd be happy with Sanders or Caddy. I don't think we get anywhere near Duursma or Watson unless we trade up.

Gets us into the range of caddy/sanders/maybe curtin. Might as well back ourselves in

It’s a gamble. I’m more bullish about our 2024 prospects. I expect to have a post 10 pick. But I’d happily trade it to get into the cream of this crop. Probably need a second rounder coming back.

North will probably get 11 as it stands. I’d be interested in 18 though.
