I'm happy with the way Logan is tracking but at the same time I kinda expected to see a bit more for the hype. I am expecting a massive leap from him this year. But also can't help but feel we might just see the same Logan floating in and out of games not really imposing himself. If you're going to be paid as a superstar forward then you need to be playing like one.

is the most overrated forward in the game behind Naughton so lols at the comparison . Logan will start encroaching on them if we don't see a massive improvement this year.

Hawkins did not come good until he was 25. Logan is only 21 going on 22. I think you need to settle down a bit. Patience.

King had 90 shots at goal in his 3rd season. Logan had 47.

what about involvement in teammates' goals? i have no idea about statistics but what i see suggests mcdonald is as much a contributer as he is a goal kicker
more goals will come, as will more assists ...

King is a much better player than Logan as it stands. I didn't realise that was even open to debate.

My view: Logan was never going to have big numbers whilst a certain L.Frankin was attracting a massively disproportionate percentage of forward entries.

The next 2 seasons will be fascinating to see how Logan (and to a lesser extent Party and McL) develop.

I dunno what hype and expectation has to do anything. Both were pick 4 in the draft anyway.

King is a better player than McDonald right now and it isn't even close. That may not always be the case though.

It's like comparing Blakey and B Campbell.

First domino to fall will be if they retain English and under what term / $. Second domino is when we announce Logan’s extension - probably before finals and just after he has set the competition alight.

Third domino is who coaches the dogs in the future.

If English is retained, JUH will definitely be in play as they can’t possibly match a 10 year / $11m deal which is what I think it will take to get him to move. JUH has way more upside than Naughton so I think that’s the ballpark of the offer to snag him.

We didn't get Buddy to move, it is well documented that he approached us. Came to Sydney to be with Jacinta.

I'd be going harder at Sam Darcy than JUH. You can quote me, he'll be a mile better when he fills out and can literally be AA at either end. I do agree in theory that one of these talls will seek a trade where will they all play otherwise.

I think it's absolutely debateable when King is the number one forward at the Saints, and until this season Logan hasn't been.
