Bolton is cream for our vanilla sponge. If he wants to come here, we make it happen.

Possibly, but I wouldn't expect it if we're getting bulk salary. I'm talking 500k x 4 stuff.Please tell me a get a 2nd rounder back.

I'd want another top 40 selection back that's for sure. It's probably towards the back end of that but I'm happy to pay two first rounders if we get something usable back. Please tell me a get a 2nd rounder back.

9 & 17 is about the best we could hope for I suspect.
It won't be 9 & 26.
I personally think 9 + 10 and they pay significant salary is the best outcome. I know we'll all be devo in Novermber not having either pick, but leaving room for Chad is significantly more valuable than a draftee is likely to be.

I think you could get that, but likely only during a draft night trade.I’d love for us to auction off our pick 10.
I really think there will be some bidders around.
Our first stage should be to extract as much value as we can before attempting trades.
Keep pick 9.
If we can auction off 10 for a hypothetical ~15 and future 1st we just do that.
I don't care about where he is rated in the comp, I care about what he brings to us.
What are you trying to argue here? That Switta kicking at 75% for 11 goals is somehow better than Bolton kicking at 50% for 40?
And Treacy is having a better year than Amiss partly because of the accuracy, but mostly because his game is more than just goals.
It will be less than 5 I suspect. Could be as little as 2 or 3. Trac and Bont probably, stuggle to think of others.Last 4 seasons he's averaged over 17 touches and kicked an average of 30+ goals a season. It's laughable to think he wouldn't come into our side and have an enormous impact from the get go. Love to know how many players in that time period have averaged as many touches and goals as Bolton has.

Demons looking into McKay?Freo asking about Pickett
Top 80 puts him in the 4-5 best players in each team. Sounds like a gun to me.
Yeah we're crying out for players that can break a game open. Players that can win you games regardless of the quality of opposition.Toby Greene is another that would have been close. Point is he's a top 5/10 small forward that can also have an impact in the middle, and as you said even if he's 80th best in the AFL his role is number 1 on our upgrade chart.
May be a case of clubs expecting the extra year of future trading, committing to things, and now having to find a way of getting the deals done.I don't think I've seen a year with more contracted players potentially all on a merry go round

If even a quarter of these moves happen, it’s going to be a wild few weeks

I'd look at it. It depends on where Bolton is going to land but it would be nice to get some late firsts in this draft.Swans currently hold 18&19
We could do 10 & 26 for 18,19 and future 2nd.
That’s not too unrealistic.
Leaves us with 9, ~17, 18, 19 our future 1st and 2x2nds
Gold Coast may be a willing trade partner again.
Either way. Someone will want pick 10 if we put it on the table. Many clubs will need to find ammo to complete deals.
