I think the basic mandate of a country's leader is to put their own citizens first. Make their lives better. It should be rule No. 1. Harris and Biden have shown they dont care about their citizens, just how they look on the international stage sending endless billions to Ukraine during a cost of living crisis and a hurricane.

From East Palestine to Helene they have shown they dont care.

My guess is you want the US to fail which is why you cant think of anything you agree eith.

The US has been a 'bit of a big thing' in the world for some decades now. It has taken on (for better or worse) a large number of global responsibilities, and no reasonable leader can turn their back and pretend that these don't exist.

They were primarily responsible for creating the post-WWII world and they are obliged to maintain that 'global order'. It's very much in their interests to do so.

Ignoring this part of the job does US citizens no favours at all, and nor does fumbling Covid and killing millions of your own people.
