So trying to be like ‘oh they’re all exactly the same’ and suggest it doesn’t matter who people vote for, is impractical, unrealistic, and myopic.

If you want the world to be a better place for more people, it’s not going to happen by getting a socialist POTUS elected. It’s going to be by electing people who by degrees are less likely to screw the working class, and democracy, over.

If MAGA loses in a bloodbath, the GOP realise that going hard to the right isn’t working to them, and US politics shifts more towards the rest of the western world, that’s a ‘win’ for the working class.

Your all or nothing, perfect solution world is never going to happen, which means you’re achieving nothing for anyone. You take the small wins you can actually get, and over time it results in meaningful change.
