I'm keen. I want to see his defensive side and endurance pushing up and back for a full game as well. His marking ability up the ground should be very handy. He should play IMO, he had done enough to retain a spot and the club will want to see if it was a fluke or not.
4 in a half = 8 for a full game. But seriously, even if he kicks a couple it would put his name up for discussion.
Sub is still in. Unfortunately. I would go 6 on the bench and 20 rotations a quarter myself.Anyone know if the sub is still a thing this year? About time it is scrapped for just 5 on the bench.

likely has the capacity, think he'll want to take all of the opportunities possible to play well to pressure for the spot. Can he be the player we wanted Jones to be?
Stop saying things that make me continually agree with you dammit!!!Sub is still in. Unfortunately. I would go 6 on the bench and 20 rotations a quarter myself.
I'd say he's going to spend a fair bit of time in the twos tbh. His ceiling is high though so it's exciting times. Can he be the player we wanted Jones to be?
Tom is 2 years older that Jones though. Can he be the player we wanted Jones to be?
Almost like our development has been shit for the last few decadesTom is 2 years older that Jones though.
Also Tom is a late bloomer and wasn't like this from the get go.
Even though tall players take time to get going, it feels like Essendon more than any other team has had to wait for our players to mature to finally see some results.
Why would you take a mature age player with your last list spot to play mainly in the magoos?I'd say he's going to spend a fair bit of time in the twos tbh. His ceiling is high though so it's exciting times.

How a simple blood test was a 'game changer' for new Bomber
One day Tom Edwards was teaching, the next he's signing with his boyhood club after booting four second-half goals in Essendon's match simwww.afl.com.au
Explains why he is a bit of a late bloomer. May be 24 but he actually does have a bit of developing to do.
When does he get a number eth-dog?
Interesting he was diagnosed as coeliac only last year and now able to build weight and not feel fatigued. Could be big upside![]()

...he can't eat heaps of good stuff, the poor bastard. Life without pasta or dagwood dogs
Also can't eat Durham though, so that's a win.
