Fair question. Ultimately, my take is that he'll play more in the twos than in the best 22.

For me, whilst he addresses a need, he adds depth while also having the potential to contribute at senior level.
But is he a regular starter? That remains to be seen, and we’ll find out over the course of the year.

I’m just mindful that a lot of these guys who come in aren’t always Nick Martin–level ‘ready to cook’ and may need time to develop.

Too tall in defence and too short in attack against that Hawks lineup though. Jones seemed to be more forward after Langers went off so the option might be something like El Hawli to a wing/hb while Jones is the hit-up forward.
