I said it all along... Play Stanley in the Ruck and play SDK in defence.. Playing SDK in defence, he plays better as a defender than then he does ruck..
Stanley was serviceable playing ruck tonight..

Stanley is playing because the Club asked him to stay, to play when needed + to help develop VFL ruck guys. He cannot physically play ruck every week.

SDK is being developed too + atm our only option being played with Blitz + Stanley.

We have to be patient

Close working much harder this week for a better return. Stengle needs to fight harder because he's so capable of bringing much more to the contest when he's not in it. Ollie Henry lacks versatility and needs to turn disadvantage into at least a 50:50 more often but he's still young.

Ollie Henry is just not right at the moment. Think he needs a spell in the twos, and Wiltshire to get a run. Just guarding grass at the moment.

Was hearing footsteps tonight and pulled out of multiple marking contests when gawn was around. Not good enough for a midfielder let alone a so called marking foward.

He needs to play vfl in a new role. Should of happened over pre season but sadly didnt. Another wasted year for henry it looks like.

Cat B rookie, #46. Used to be a steeplechaser. Hasn't played footy since under 14s, but is tall and can run all day. One of those Hail Mary selections Wells makes now and then. Let's wait and see how it pans out. Might surprise some people.

Our forward line has competitiveness issues this season.
Stengel, Neale and Henry the main culprits.

Probably fair to add JC to that list too.

Stengle relies on the bigs winning or breaking even in the aerial pursuit. Not excusing his start to the year, because he has been poor, but we aren’t bringing him into the game enough.

Neale has 13 tackles this season, more than both O Henry and JC combined. I don’t like using one dimensional stats, but I feel like aside from an injury affected half, he gives more contests than any of our forwards, both in the air and on the ground.

And I doubt his salary is more than Henry and JC combined.
