We are so mentally week. I am reliably informed that our senior players expected us to get reamed in final round last season as team was so despondent after losing to Eagles.
Isn't that the whole point of footy? The chance to atone a week later?
Instead we turned up our toes and got flogged because the game meant nothing to us.
(could have done that a year earlier and got Harley mind you)
What does that say about this club, these players and our leaders????

I’m not sure what part of lazy and just plain shit has to do with being woke.

I couldn’t give a **** if they are woke if they compete hard and could kick a ball.

The Swans play as a team - they are drilled. i see a lot of comments about Wardlaw, FOS, etc will help us well im telling you all now Daicos, Carey etc would not help this team!!! they are lazy, they run one way, they dont know how to lead, where to run or when to run, where to kick into space, how to break lines, to be front and square, to not all go for a mark etc etc etc

To think I gave up 10 more cocktails with the girls for that!!

We have all these dudes rejected by other systems not being able to perform whatever our system is. They struggled to fit in too their previous clubs plans, yet we build around them.

I understand we can't get our first choice like Nathan Broad over Caleb Daniel and someone who will not be named here over like Parker.

He has zero hurt factor, he hates body contact, he can run but it's not to dangerous spots, Sydney's wingmen destroyed us in transition, he doesn't get the ball high enough up the ground to kick to dangerous spots for the forwards, and he doesn't generate overlap run. He is really, really bad and the sooner we have FOS in his spot the better.

Players like Stephens are ones where we say "Not our worst" and it's true, sure, but we have too many of these players. If we had 1-2 of them they'd probably do fine in a solid team. We have too many of them and they just expose each other. That FOS can come in and look great is an indictment. That Sheezel walked in and was our best player in year 1 is actually a disgrace. We keep getting killed by injuries to players we need in the 1's the most. Goater, Wardlaw (there are others) - we need defensive intensity in the middle and clean disposal of half back. Instead every time we get a player in that can do something decent with the ball we lose one out the other end.
