you can drop a guy who gives it to the opposition with almost 50 percent of his disposals though. That means the more he gets it, the more he hurts your side.

Turnovers are poison in the modern game. Johnson's 59 percent disposal efficiency from 27 touches is almost football arsenic.

Disposal inefficiency is not turning it over. He had 7 clangers. A high number, but Dawson also had 7 clangers

I was at the game and Johnson was good overall, with a few poor moments.

We need his size in the midfield badly.

He needs more time with more responsibility. Dropping him would be absurd.

They’re a similar team to us in a lot of ways… they’d be frustrated that they went away from home and couldn’t get a win against a team around about them.

We're building nicely. Darcy really stepped after last week. Jackson back next week, a lot to like. A good professional win, mostly playing the right way. Still a lot for this young group to learn.

Great win and I bet the lads enjoyed playing a cool night game for the first time this season.

Our ins were huge, Chapman, Wagner in particular were sorely missed last week. Couldn't get a much bigger in than Luke Jackson

Back to back 6 day breaks, 2 weeks on the road, most of our games played in hot weather so far this year. Not surprised we faded a bit.

Bring that level of tackling and pressure week in week out, and I might start believing we are heading in the right direction.

Yeah i dont really understand all the criticism on here - was very strong and creative out of stoppages, went back with the flight and looked composed.

He obviously has a directive to try and take on the tackle and handball to a runner, and he did indeed fend a few tackles off

A few turnovers yes like literally every other player makes regularly

I like the midfield look with MJ in there instead of jom. Brings more physicality

Definitely disposals can improve but I think that would come if he takes the first option more. Also bit more careful in hitting handballs instead of to the feet

MJ was fine, he’ll review the tape and get better. He was 2nd guessing himself with ball in hand. He is worlds ahead of JOM in the midfield. We need better runners though, I thought we looked absolutely cooked in the 4th quarter.

Johnson took some good marks in the last quarter but he was mostly a net negative. Like a dear in the headlights when he’s got the ball. Stares around and refuses to take a leading player or someone free. When called to play on he bombs it, usually to their advantage. This with the hospital handballs.
I would rather keep OMac in when Jackson gets back. He’s got a great football brain and a really nice kick. Got 2 & setup 2. Nice game.
Feeling overall let down. Played well for a lot of it but went into our shell in the last & gave them a look.
Duds & Reid needed to put the last nails in. Forgive Reid for his amazing goal earlier & clever setups.
Still we won. Hopefully get Jacko back next week and Nod soon after.
Not convinced but better.

Not sure what Clark you were watching? He was fantastic tonight, one of our best. Made one poor error with a bad kick to Freddy.

OMac actually does quite well up forward. Interesting decision between he and Voss (Jackson’s going midfield idc).
