Yeah well the worst part of that was we gave Sloane another year long contract to fill a hole because we couldn’t get Redman.

How is it possible that moving Nank back and shuffling forward/wing is either not considered or considered and dismissed as being not the best option? I get that a small % of people may think Brodie returning is great, but an entire group of highly paid coaches plus Adam Kelly? It’s absolutely insane.

We are in agreement on Smith.

Personally I would even prefer brining Jones in to play wing and move Cumming to his best position across HBF.

Or Dowling, who might not be in his best SANFL form, but proved he can play at AFL level last year. Or Schoey, who has been in good SANFL form and is in the last chance saloon. Or Pedlar, who has been emergency once or twice, so can’t be far away. Or even not drop Draper who just outperformed everyone else at SANFL level.

Any of these plus Jones is a better 23 with a better chance of winning than just swapping Hinge and Smith coz derp derp ‘like for like’.

How bad can his body be when he just outplayed everyone else in the SANFL while playing 1/4 less? So we can rule out fatigue. And if he needed the hitout, he just got it.
