Bloody hell

Are there enough liberals left to form a shadow cabinet![]()

Ley or Taylor would be a disaster.
Angie Bell is impressive but doubt they would be a childless lesbian in charge. What other competent female MPs do they have? It really is a shallow party room.
I think the Liberals are likely to be replaced as the second major party in Australian politics over the next decade. That said, 3 years is a very long time in politics. Just ask Campbell Newman!
The cupboard is bare. The intimate carbon rod is almost a shoe in.

I voted sussssan in the poll. Figure she will be the cannon fodder place holder as a token gesture to try and repair the lack of appeal to womenBernard Keane must have opened up a bottle early this morning to think that Sussan Ley presents a "sensible, voter-friendly" face. He's been roasted in the replies to him as a result. He'll probably lock his account again, he's so thin-skinned.
I'm not sure if that appeal is real. But let's say it is. How much of it would stick after a man knifes her?I voted sussssan in the poll. Figure she will be the cannon fodder place holder as a token gesture to try and repair the lack of appeal to women
Depends on how she exits and whether there have been preselection changes etc while she is there. It may be after another election loss (one where there is some improvement) she then chooses to step down in favour of the next leader, that scenario would not have the negative of knifingI'm not sure if that appeal is real.
