Liberals already knew they were getting smacked.

I still believe the defection is to shore up the Liberals numbers in the coalition agreement. We have 17 Liberals (one used to be CLP) and 9 Nationals.

Then there are 16 LNP members in Queensland. When I look at the map I find it hard to believe a majority of those 16 barrack for the Liberals. So how many nationals are there?

The Liberals do not have the numbers - that is why Jacinta Price has defected. IMO.

House

Liberals 17
Nationals 9
LNP who caucus with Libs 5
LNP who caucus with Nats 9

So the Libs just barely outrank the Nats in the House caucus. In the Senate however they easily outrank the Nats (24-6 pre election).

Still losing the right wing’s darling from the Nats to the Libs is a big win for them.

So that makes it 22-18.

It is getting close in the House.

Just to put into perspective how dire the Liberals only having 22 seats in the house of Representative is, before Saturday The Greens had 4

Liberal Primary vote is 20.91%

I think the way some in the Liebrals want to attract the “broad church” is select 2 conservatives (Taylor and Price) for leadership but rebrand Taylor as a “moderate” when he is anything but.

I mean even IPA shill boy Wilson is being called “moderate”.

Taylor/Price ticket is even worse than Dutton/Ley.

Who is Ley putting forward as her deputy?
Almost every decision the Liberal Party takes from here needs to be seen through a twenty five year old's eyes. It's all very well for someone my age demand that they move further right but that's not going to impress younger people who aren't voting for them because they offer nothing for them.

It'll be interesting to see who the 'Sky News After Dark' team (ie Bolt, Credlin, Murray) will be backing in the Liberal leadership vote. Will they get behind Sussan Ley, or support Angus Taylor as leader?

Either way, they'll be backing a loser. It'd be better to send the Liberal party to the knackers yard.

Well they want neither, here’s who they want:

I guess they’ll settle for Taylor/Price then push for Price to replace Taylor at some point. In contrast here’s what they think about Ley:

Doing their best to undermine her. Also a couple of positive clips about Ley, but the more watched and more promoted ones are undermining her.

She is definitely the “woke moderate” according to Sky After Dark.

Can anyone imagine either of these 2 being a future PM?

May Lucifer help us all...
It would only ever be imaginable in their own diseased minds.
