AFLW 2025 - AFLW Trade and Draft - All the player moves
Due to a number of factors, support for the current BigFooty mobile app has been discontinued. Your BigFooty login will no longer work on the Tapatalk or the BigFooty App - which is based on Tapatalk.
Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
If only they listened to me. I should be the list manager. We would have received offers for him in a super draft.I do think we should trade one of Langford or Parish, preferably both. Not because they aren't important players, but because they're the only ones with currency. If we don't aggressively regenerate the list before Tassie comes in, we'll be stuffed for years after that.We need to be bold with our list management and think of long term and sustained success.
Langford is 28 next year so he isn't exactly young. If we can turn him into a young KPF, then that's worthwhile.
We'll be fine without him, even if we go backwards at the beginning.

Doesn't really apply here because it would still make sense in the long run even if he was playing well. With Tassie coming, we're running out of time to turn the list over. In the past, we've waited way too long to move a player on (see Stringer) to the point where it doesn't benefit us.retrospective list management is the best.

Many of us said to move Parish on years ago when he would net us a first rounder. A part of knowing when to keep a player and when to move him on is a part of good list management.
people bemoan Hawks for being good. That's a club that has the guts to make tough decisions. I agree that Langford was one that could have netted us a top end pick but the club too scared to lose didn't have the guts to do soDoesn't really apply here because it would still make sense in the long run even if he was playing well.
