Finn is doing fine. Hes got one of the most penetrating kicks in the game.

Clearaces get more weighting than other stats. He has a wide array of skills that arent centred around a few stats

Having watched him closely he's really not that good.

Sure he's big but he's not actually that athletic, can be very slow and his disposal is bog average.

Feel like the media get a little horny when it comes to "big bodied mids" but they need to calm down on this bloke.

He's not particularly damaging.

Hard to argue against re:Naughton this year. Used to be a guy who could clunk a contested grab very well, apply pressure at ground level and a terrible shot at goal. Currently dropping lace out passes in the F50 and having a brain aneurism every time he gathers the loose ball.

They’re both teenagers so “rating” them at this point in their careers is a poor move to begin with, let alone discussing whether they’re overrated.

Commentators aren’t oblivious to the fact that Reid isn’t posting peak-Ablett Jr number…. They KNOW he isn’t having 35-and-4 during games when he isn’t having 35-and-4.

Yes he’s overhyped a bit, no argument there, but he is overhyped precisely because he’s a teenager. Every bit of output he has is being critiqued relative to other players of his age in his role.
