I’d got on the knicks too for some unknown reason.

Surely the third time’s a charm

The way I see it is my Baseball team won Game 50 of a 162 game campaign and Manchester United lost. So my sporting day has been at least half successful.

And how much for CL qualification?
"Minimum €18.62 million for competing, each victory during the tournament’s league stage also attracts a further €2.1 million (A$3.69 million) performance bonus, and bonuses for qualifying for the knockout stage range from €1 million to €18.5 million (A$1.75 million to $32.4 million) per club, depending on how far they progress."

So much more worth it.

Only if they win some games ;)

Was a calculated gamble. Had they lost, it would've been a real hit to the wallet...come on down United.
They're basically on par with the pl finish already with each win putting them ahead. Add in the allure in attracting players too.

Well hell froze over today so anything's possible!

You never know. This year Crystal Palace (119 year history to win their first major title), Bologna (51 years, Copa Italia), Go Ahead Eagles (first trophy in 92 years), OKC(‘79)/Knicks(‘73)/T’Wolves(never)/Pacers(never) is looking like 2016 with Leicester City (132 years), Chicago Cubs (108 years’, Bulldogs (62 years), Cronulla Sharks (49 years), Cleveland Cavs (46 years) in terms of drought breakers.

Really pleased to see Ange get such a massive win and for Spurs fans who have to endure a lot.

Ange’s story is borderline unbelievable. Wins the national league managing the club he played for, then spends a decade in the national youth setup and you’d think his managerial career is all but over. Suddenly he gets his chance at Brisbane and wins back to back championships, then wins Australia its first ever major tournament, overcomes a language barrier and wins in Japan, goes to Celtic and wins back the league then a treble, and now ends Spurs trophy drought with a European trophy.

History says people from footballing countries like Australia just can’t achieve all of that. We could go generations without having another Aussie with a resume as good as his.

You're literally the most miserable campaigner on this place lol reading what you say is a lesson in depression.

Back on block 🤣
It's just a fact. You can hardly say it's on the same level as Aussie Guus when they didn't win a game at the WC. His Ange Ball style just didn't hold up against top sides. Sounds familiar with this PL season. Last night whether by accident or not they decided not to play Ange ball and they won. Carlo Ancelotti has won a lot by being a pragmatic manager, one of the leading pragmatists around.
