Footy is a funny game.

We were 16 points down when the umpire paid the free kick against English instead of awarding him the free kick. That results in a Geelong goal.... 60 seconds of playing time later, we kick two quick goals to go into the last change 10 pts down.

I'd argue without the umpire gifting Geelong a goal, fair chance we'd be 16 points down at 3/4 time instead of 10 pts.

Reason is obvious... we scored both of our goals from brilliant CBA work. Those CBAs wouldn't have been possible without the initial BS goal to Geelong.
