By the looks of it, you've been sucked in by the media hype as well.
What exactly is the hype though?
Do they say they win the flag this year or do they push for top four because if it's the latter, then yes, I'm sucked in if that's what you think.

They were flag favourites at the start of the year.
They were flag favourites at the start of the year.
Dumbfounding really. By no measure should they have been. Thin midfield, KPF suck, only 1 year in the 8 after getting on a hot run and they were ousted 2 hurdles short of the granny.
Not to mention they actually have a harder schedule of double ups this year, last year by way of their finishing position they copped a lot of shit clubs in their run back into Finals. Got found out once they got there by Port who by extension of that are a club that lives and dies on emotion, the Ginnivan “see you in two weeks” thing was all they needed.
Pretty certain they were never favourites before the season kicked off. Maybe after round 5 they were but it's been Collingwood and Brisbane throughout most of the preseason.
So far, one of those two look the most likely.
If only that logic applied to all teamsIt's North's home game

Bloody North
Just 20 more minutes of effort
I follow the bookmakers (my job), and Hawthorn and Brisbane were equal favourites. The Pies missed the finals last year, so they weren’t really considered favourites; they were just slightly ahead of us. We were paying $12—which is staggering.
You are looking at the premiership odds after Hawthorn beat up on Sydney (fancied finalists) in round 1.
Look at the premiership odds earlier in the year before the season kicked off.
Out of legs, unprofessional.
I'm blaming their coaches, should practice those last five minutes, multiple scenarios until it's ingrained, like we do.
