You think our forward line of 27 year old one dimensional Larkey, Darling who turns 33 next month and Maley/Teakle combo is a great mix do you?

I can't tell you what likelihood May is on making it, but if he is a quality prospect then this is very much a position of need for us
100%. I have no idea about who else is available, but have seen a few of the highlight videos of May. Looks a good size, and good kick, and his mobility looks ok for a KPP. Hopefully can be more of true KPF than Larkey. At 20 years of age, he isn't an 88 kg 17 yo, but could still do with a bit more physical development but could see him getting a game.

It'll at least shut down the possibility of seeing either Pink or Comben in the forward line.

Bring it on. This is the year.
I was really looking forward to the MSD, that list has brought me back to reality. I will say the last 3 are an improvement on the first 3 that's for sure.

"West Perth recruit Roan Steele has been sounded out by Collingwood ahead of the mid-season rookie draft on Wednesday.

The West Australian can reveal the Magpies put Steele through a medical when they were in Perth earlier this month to take on Fremantle at Optus Stadium.

Steele joined the Falcons this season from Casey Demons, where he has shone on the wing in his first seven games..."

"Collingwood have already been linked to former West Coast WAFL midfielder Josh Browne, who has been in Victoria for the past two years... The 22-year-old is coming off 22 disposals and a goal for Collingwood in the VFL defeat to North Melbourne as his final audition. "

"Meanwhile, fellow West Perth midfielder Kane Bevan has previously drawn the attention of Essendon after a strong start to the season for the Falcons."

"Peel Thunder premiership star Michael Sellwood is almost certain to go, with the Western Bulldogs putting him through a medical, while Port Adelaide met with the defender last week.

Geelong premiership player and Perth recruit Brandan Parfitt had been linked to West Coast but it is believed that interest had cooled in recent weeks.

But the chance of a second list spot being open by an injury to forward Jake Waterman my change his chances."

Waterman out for year they might take may now

"Three-time Simpson medallist Murdock has previously been on the Eagles’ radar and is now a chance to get a long-awaited AFL lifeline, with sources telling the West Australian the club met with the midfielder this morning.

Murdock, 24, is averaging 27 disposals and seven tackles this season and is coming off a starring performance in the WAFL’s drought-breaking win over the SANFL earlier this month.

The Eagles already have the No.1 pick in the draft because of a season-ending knee injury to premiership hero Dom Sheed and they have been strongly linked to Richmond VFL half-back Tom McCarthy."

Do people seriously think Banch will come in and do better than Konstanty? Lol.

Personally I don't think any of the top MSD prospects have a high likelihood of developing into solid AFL players.

But at least someone like Banch is closer to being "AFL-ready" than May.

I'll say it again - other clubs will actively want us to have an early pick.

Because of our uncanny ability to find the landmine in every MSD group.
What about the poor bastard we select. Thinking he might be able to have an AFL career, then gets selected by North and realizes he really isn't any bloody good.
