Well no one is really knocking the door down and demanding selection Ford. Even Jackson, his form was nothing more than “decent”

They're playing in a terrible side coached by a numpty. Jackson was alright against Freo, better than a few of his team mates even in a half.

Also, how many AFL players were in our last sanfl game? 9?

How dare you speak about Hartlett like that!

He was good at beating a kfc drum

Oh and PeacefulWarrior Rory Atkins banged the door down, was selected and everyone complained!

Feels like we need to lose by at least 80 or Hinkley coaches against Melbourne. Even then who knows with this soft **** administration.

Hopefully the lads get on the beers the night before to give us every chance of a blowout.
It could be 150 points and he will still coach against Melbourne, its very clear now the club wont move him on and try and save the season and obviously he wont walk away for the best interest of the club either.

He's here until its mathematically impossible to make finals.

IN: Sweet, Sinn, Ratugolea, Lorenz
OUT: Visentini, Lord, BZT, Mead

Sub: Boak (Possibly 1 quarter of AFL, then time managed in SANFL a day later)

Go shorter in the forward line until Luko is back, or if Lord/Whitlock put some decent SANFL form together.

Esava and Sinn should be available. Farrell and JHF should be on ice for another week and not risk coming back underdone. Mackinlay and Liddy probably needs a week or so to get up to scratch and understand bit of how Port plays.

I really hope Jackson doesn't get omitted but he will because Ken and keep Mead in the team still and Visentini will also get the axe for Sweet because reasons; yes Dante got smashed but he came back in the second half and was solid. Sweet will then have pointless taps which goes nowhere and the mids will get belted once again.
Better they don't know.

I’d much prefer players who didn’t know what was going on be out there.

Jackson would be stiff to get dropped for Liddy but it’s on the cards.

It doesn’t matter. Might be best for Jackson he wasn’t involved.

hard to do much when daddy subs u on in the 3qtr, players who have only played 1 as sub deserve a full game.

We definitely need to play Aliir, BZT and Esava. We desperately need to free up Aliir from playing on the #1 or #2 key forwards, because he is having a shocker in that role. Let the other 2 lock down and he can roam and intercept.

You know that is gonna be impossible. Port tried that last year and got exposed badly once the ball hits the ground not to mention the fact that this is a club that continuously rewards mediocre form in Mead, Boak etc. and drops the likes of Lorenz and Jackson; most likely gonna happen this week.

But I agree that Aliir isn't a one-on-one defender and gets out-bodied easily.

With them both playing on key forwards, Ratugolea has been a much more reliable intercept mark this year. Leave him back there. Aliir has been double grabbing and dropping a lot. I'm not really sure what his best role is at the moment.

If we had decent key defenders his role would be out of the side until he gets some form back.

GWS are not in great form at all. They were lucky to make a massive comeback and beat Richmond on the weekend.

If we somehow pull a win out here, we then play our next 3 games at home against Melbourne (12th), Sydney (14th) and Carlton (13th). We could easily get on a mini run and be 8-7 and Hinkley is no chance of leaving for the rest of the year. Basically if we win this, Hinkley won't be leaving early for 2025. A lot riding on this game.

There's a rumour going around that apparently our players did 2 hours plus of opening doors and taking shopping to cars for old people the last week.

They also had a bunch of dinners together.

If this is true then our friendship and Samaritan levels will be off the charts this weekend 🙌 👏

They'll be so ****ing connected. They are probably exchanging long protein strings. If you can think of a simpler way, i'd like to hear it!
