What I’ve been told from someone who knows a fair bit with what’s going on at the lions. He believes he may be up for trade. Everyone else has long term contracts. Especially if they look to add more f/a this year.
This bloke did tell me about Oscar Allen to Brisbane august last year.

He'll replace Day. If they move on a player like Bailey and bring in Allen they'll back that Ah Chee, Lohmann, Cameron and youngsters like McLachlan will cover the loss at ground level.

Allen with Brisbanes delivery inside 50 next to Morris would be seriously dangerous if he's anywhere near 100% fitness.

It staggers me that a player who has never averaged more than 18 possessions a game and has never finished higher than 7th in his clubs B&F would command much higher. I can see see 14-16 being ok, I don’t think he’s worth more than that.

As JJ said, Bergman will cost a lot more than pick 18. He's developing into genuine star in that midfield role. Next few years I'd imagine he's going to really explode and start being that 25-30 touch mid who can push forward and impact.

Pull the pin then. I thought he would go there and they’d trade Morris and get good picks, bus spending heaps on Allen reminds me a little of when they got the Adelaide free agent and he’s barely played a match. Spend the money elsewhere

It's a weak, highly comprimised draft. Pick 18 will end up being around 30. He was a pick 14, and is having a breakout year. You pay for potential, rather than for what they've done already as well

I would imagine Port would be asking us for our TDK pick and in all honesty I'd hand it over for Bergman in this draft. Sounds like considerable overs but I really don't rate this draft at all so personally I'd be fine paying that.

Florent offer them up a future 2nd, they're in no position to ask for overs if he's stuck playing twos half the year.

I think it was the length I must have been thinking of. Could easily get a discount if they want him off the books

Pick 5 and Florent from Sydney (at a minimum) for Harry.

Keep TDK and use 5 to lure in either Bailey or Bergman + change.

Brisbane will probably want to deal in future picks though due to their academy boys - not sure if we can accomodate that given Cody.

Walk away with Florent, Bergman and keeping TDK.

He's high impact. Great drive, and is a very good user. You notice every time he gets the ball

It depends how pick 8 is valued this year. Riley Beveridge said today that Jagga Smith would've been pick 1 by a long way in this draft
