For a side withthat many premiership players in you are pretty shit
hmmm, i think it’s 7 (Nank, Broad, Prestia, Lynch, Vlastuin, McIntosh, Balta) and 6 of them are just about finished. It’s called a rebuild DH, you guys went through it. We’re shit because of the rebuild, you were shit coz of the trauma your own club released on you after the 2017 GF.

Well done crows. Good luck in the finals. Got it done on a wet and cold Melbourne day regardless of the opposition. Thilthorpe could be the next big thing. Exiting future for the crows. As for out mob, we need the kids to come on . Our veterans aren’t going to see any success.

Rankine is a good player but stop calling him a star. He isn't close.
Repeating your same stupidity in every Crows match day thread over & over doesn't make it true.

No one takes you seriously as you are just a bitter person who can't handle a player who left your club.

Grow up & enjoy Humphries.

Hopefully he's as obsessed with Lukosius if he ever stinks it up. At least that way, he's be consistent.

Because he's developed into a genuinely very good forward. But that has taken time.

With the number of rookie key forwards on Richmond's list it gives a good indication of how long development can take.
He always showed lots of it early on... but now he is very consistent... that's the difference. After that ankle injury he bulked up and that seems to have made a massive difference... defenders cannot easily move him.

I agree, I think his bulked up size has elevated his abilities. Something our rookies won't have for some time yet.

Any idea how much he weighs?

Tiger's should be looking to find some trade value for Lynch. Maybe, mid to late 3rd round pick. Dude was a liability today.
Shame they haven't got a bloke like Tex who ages like red wines.

Gee whiz there’s some real average reflection on the game by both supporters.

First things first gee some of the crows have come on and I’d be real excited if I were a supporter. Curtin really looks like he’s breaking out. Milera I’ve drafted for about three years in my fantasy leagues so pleased to see he’s finally putting it all together.

From a Richmond perspective another good games from Banks and Ross can play but needs to put it all together.

Better team won clearly.

On Lynch he was dumb, stupid and diabolical. 5 weeks I reckon but who knows.

I will say this though, just because he gets in the book and dead set deserves a holiday doesn’t mean he shouldn’t get umpired like everyone else. I think even crows fans had a wry grin when he was scragged in the third and fourth and the umpire looked directly on it and waved ‘play on!’

Mmm, perhaps he needs to work on throwing his arms in the air more and the ocassional swan dive. Worked for you blokes back in the day. Jack could give him some specialist coaching. :D

Look I generally don’t worry about moronic takes. All I’m saying is that he was clearly impeded a couple of times, it was noted by the commentary and if we’re getting to a state where there are two sets of rules then people like me get frustrated irrespective of teams.

I could point out however that you barrack for a team of people that sook about umpiring on such a level that there’s a number of noted memes and YouTube’s. I don’t though because I try to push this place up (god knows why).

You should be very proud of the improvement and genuinely excited about this year.

Good thing you're not the type to sook about umpiring then dude. lol.

He should never have been played as a KPP to begin with. Never was one.

Played as a mid/utility in Colts.

Adelaide may have lucked out by drafting him as the KPD they needed, then having other blokes come on and having to move Curtin to his natural place to fit him in the side.

It wasn't the wrong path necessarily. If we use Curtin as a Jake Lever type, he'd absolutely kill it with his hands and ability to read the play (which has come to the fore in the last month or so). Sky is the limit there if he can get to a serviceable level with defending.

That said, it's probably a silver lining Curtin gets injured just before round 1 and the Keane/Worrell partnership shuts the door on Dan as a defender as it gave us a way to fit all three in. As much as it took a bit of time to reset.

Was a game Adelaide had to get into the 'W' column, and they did it comfortably and without injuries. Really, no massive complaints on my end.

The only real positive for Richmond? You're not North or West Coast. Beyond that though, I reckon they competed well throughout the game and it was only the quality/structure differences between the two clubs that blew the margin out.

So how come Taylor Walker isn't receiving the same scrutiny as Lynch for punching Hugo Ralphsmith in the back of the head?
