Three kids out for three seniors is bad enough but WAFL bye means Long and Champion won't play at all plus Gross will go two weeks without a game now.

Fold.
His mismanagement continues...

Turning a Gross Profit into a Net Loss.

understand the kelly inclusion.
Ryan in is a no brainer.

Hewett managed makes sense, hes been down for around a month now.

Long's progression seems to have stagnated, but sure as shit i'd rather pump games into him than owies and cripps.

Provided Petch is the sub, I’m okay with these changes.

Kelly replaces Hewett - need to manage Elijah’s body carefully and Kelly was the best performed WAFL mid to replace him, so that gets a tick from me

Ryan replaces Champion - realistically Ryan has to play if fit, and someone had to make way. Could make a case it should’ve been either Cripps or Owies, but Champion was pretty quiet last week and is still raw. On the plus side he’s now gotten a taste of what AFL footy is all about and knows what it’ll take for him to get back into the team

Petch in for Long - assuming Petch is the sub, fine with that as well. He is probably an ideal sub player at this point - mature age, can impact in bursts and likely won’t be here next year so not like we’re wasting his development.
Would be surprised if anyone else from the bench was sub - Hall and Dewar were among our better players last week, Hutch had 20 touches and Mini seems to rate him, and B.Williams is a lumbering tall.

It’s also great to see Bazzo in for a consecutive game.

These are senior players we’ve brought in though, and with that the expectations will rise. Can’t say I have much faith in this team at the moment to meet those expectations, but if there ever was a week to break our losing streak, this is it.

Interpretation of events surrounding kelly:

Tk: **** you mini I'm not playing hhf anymore I'm a bonafide 5 star mid and that's where I belong.

Mini: but you're form is poor and you need to start performing.

Tk: nup, I'm playing WAFL until you put me in the midfield.

Mini: Ok we will drop Hewett to fit you back in sorry bro.

Tk: too right mofo my 12 possessions are worth more than any other mids 30.

Ryan back is good.

Clear win with 1 of the 3 changes.
Ryan had to come back in if only to give Cripps some incentive to get the ball and be involved.
Ryan not being there meant no possessions for Cripps .

Well, personally, I like the Petch inclusion. He played well in the Beagles, adds pace and some experience.
Can't please everyone, I guess, but FMD, we have a bevy of bedwetters in here.
Ahhh the old Petch has pace argument shame he doesn’t know how to use it or get the ball

He had 17D, 5 clearances, 6 inside 50's, 7 score involvements and a goal in his debut game.

Backed it up the following week with 18D, 3 tackles, 4 inside 50's...

And to think how excited we all were with him. Certified gun, tough, finally found an inside/outside midfielder etc etc. That's where his season would peak unfortunately. What total cluster. Every other game since then has been sub impacted.

What's even worse is that at least Gross was building in the WAFL, back to back solid games.... and now this.

Could do a similar timeline for Bo Allan as well, way to manage a couple draftee's West Coast :thumbsupemoji:
