I think Hastie will be a good player. Even if we keep NAS, would like to see him more predominately mid with Hastie taking the half back role.As we have exclusively only drafted half back flankers for a decade, surely we can find one floating around the joint to replace NWM?
Ok joking, but I feel Sinclair has dropped off a bit since NWM gets all the ball. Maybe he could get back to AA form.
The year after Plugger left, Buckets kicked 90 goals. It would be hard to lose NWM for the whole range of reasons we have outlined over the months on this thread, however it is not the end of the club.
Regardless of the NAZ business. I Would be so happy to get Jack Whitlock. What I saw in the champs last year impressed me as a key forward.
I know it sounds mean but both those Whitlock boys look like they sleep with a night light on. I donāt rate either of them.Youāve spoken with Jack Whitlock, whoās signalled heās open to returning home.
My guess is that if Nas ends up requesting a trade to Port, Whitlock will be part of the deal in some capacity.
Agree with your last paragraph re Whitlock. As we have exclusively only drafted half back flankers for a decade, surely we can find one floating around the joint to replace NWM?

I'm seeing plenty from Hastie as well.I think Hastie will be a good player. Even if we keep NAS, would like to see him more predominately mid with Hastie taking the half back role.
Was very dirty we passed on Whitlock last year. Plenty of upside, particularly once he fills out.
That we could not keep the best draftee we have had since Riewoldt. What exactly would you be pissed at?
7 pages behind,so havent read any replies to this yet,but that also crossed my mindDepends on whether they want Keeler and Windy as well. Maybe we can get some of the Butters deal...

Yep. Heard him say that on the radio this morning.Someone said on FB that Pickering ācanāt see nwm leavingā us.
I'm so looking forward to the melts on the Port board when Nas re-signs and we get Whitlock for a packet of chips.
Why did he come to that decision ? Port donāt have anything or willing to trade anything ?Yep. Heard him say that on the radio this morning.

Just on Nas' mates...Nas is supposedly leaving because we won't pay his mates so I assume they will all ask for trades together because of how horrifically unhappy they are at the Saints.
He certainly not playing like someone who is unhappy. That would be a factor. I'd also hate to break Port's bubble but I don't think he is desperate to leave.
I like to think the delay is us still working on the 4 & 7 year options available to Nas.Tony has been consistently confident recently. I think we're going to get him on a two year deal and it will be damn sweet when it happens, not only knowing we'll get another few years of his silk but also seeing the tears of Port fans who seem to think they have some god given right to our best young player.
Good pointI like to think the delay is us still working on the 4 & 7 year options available to Nas.
Best kept footy secret ever - possibly because even Nas himself doesnāt know yet.For what itās worth, Kingy reckons heās leaving. Opinons everywhere. I honestly think everyone, including ITKās, are guessing.

How do you know Nas doesn't know yet? Sounds like you're guessingBest kept footy secret ever - possibly because even Nas himself doesnāt know yet.
Easy to guess when 99% of the time when things stretch out like this, it tends to mean the player is leaving. For what itās worth, Kingy reckons heās leaving. Opinons everywhere. I honestly think everyone, including ITKās, are guessing.
Get out, David King said that!!?For what itās worth, Kingy reckons heās leaving. Opinons everywhere. I honestly think everyone, including ITKās, are guessing.
