Only if Collard vehemently wants to go and we see no future there
Lance posted this just 2 days ago (liked coincidentally by Nas šŸ˜‰)

Doesn’t look like the actions of someone desperately trying to get out of the joint šŸ¤”

As we have exclusively only drafted half back flankers for a decade, surely we can find one floating around the joint to replace NWM?
Ok joking, but I feel Sinclair has dropped off a bit since NWM gets all the ball. Maybe he could get back to AA form.

The year after Plugger left, Buckets kicked 90 goals. It would be hard to lose NWM for the whole range of reasons we have outlined over the months on this thread, however it is not the end of the club.
Regardless of the NAZ business. I Would be so happy to get Jack Whitlock. What I saw in the champs last year impressed me as a key forward.
I think Hastie will be a good player. Even if we keep NAS, would like to see him more predominately mid with Hastie taking the half back role.

Was very dirty we passed on Whitlock last year. Plenty of upside, particularly once he fills out.

You’ve spoken with Jack Whitlock, who’s signalled he’s open to returning home.

My guess is that if Nas ends up requesting a trade to Port, Whitlock will be part of the deal in some capacity.
I know it sounds mean but both those Whitlock boys look like they sleep with a night light on. I don’t rate either of them.

Watch them go onto being hall of famers now.

Agree with your last paragraph re Whitlock.

But no matter what anyone says, past history etc etc ( ok, before my time) yes, the club will survive, but losing NAS will be a gut punch to both club and supporters. And yet another reason for the media etc to dump on us because we are so bad we can’t even hold our own home-grown talent given he chose to leave.

Fact is, he’d also be a drawcard for other players considering coming to our club.

I'm seeing plenty from Hastie as well.

Can take an intercept mark, but can also run and carry the football. Tidy up the kicking, get more of the footy, be a decent lockdown on opponent and we got an excellent player on our hands.

Depends on whether they want Keeler and Windy as well. Maybe we can get some of the Butters deal...
7 pages behind,so havent read any replies to this yet,but that also crossed my mind

in a world where windy might be a little disgruntled(low offer and not in plans)

naz windy keeler for

butters bergman whitlock
butters bergman berry

if butters an absolute no go

bergman whitlock berry 2rdp f1rdp

Don't know if there's ever been a 6 player trade!

Nas is supposedly leaving because we won't pay his mates so I assume they will all ask for trades together because of how horrifically unhappy they are at the Saints.
Just on Nas' mates...
If he wants to go and play footy with J Burgoyne and 'have lots of fun' Nas needs to actually watch Jase play. Jeebus.

That would be a factor. I'd also hate to break Port's bubble but I don't think he is desperate to leave.
He certainly not playing like someone who is unhappy.

Tony has been consistently confident recently. I think we're going to get him on a two year deal and it will be damn sweet when it happens, not only knowing we'll get another few years of his silk but also seeing the tears of Port fans who seem to think they have some god given right to our best young player.
I like to think the delay is us still working on the 4 & 7 year options available to Nas.

For what it’s worth, Kingy reckons he’s leaving. Opinons everywhere. I honestly think everyone, including ITK’s, are guessing.
Best kept footy secret ever - possibly because even Nas himself doesn’t know yet.

Get out, David King said that!!?

We are screwed. Hopefully the port fans still have their offer of Jack Whitlock and a 2027 first rounder on the table.
