first half we left a lot of goals on the board & conceded goals through young player errors (plus multiple forward forays stunted cos of balta's poor kicking), as well as just not being too hot in the wet weather

bad end to the 2nd qtr and whole 3rd qtr rooted us, but we still ran it out and were somewhat competitive in the 4th, which was definitely helped by the rain coming back and us kicking 1.4 and pies kicking 1.5 in the 4th


so overall a good game, just sucks that we've missed a lot of our young talent through injuries as i'd love to see them out there in games like this

also had a couple of really mint transition plays resulting in shots on goal which is nice to see it working against the pies and not just wce

Also, man Daicos is a gun.

Similar to Dusty, you can see the team is built around him.

There’s no need for him to do any defensive running, just an offensive weapon.

I know he’s described as a hard runner but if you look at the stats or him at a game, he doesn’t move as much as you’d think but he knows where to run and is always in offensive positions

The boys battled hard. Love what I'm seeing from Faull & Hotton in particular. Nick Daicos is not an old player though so it's genuinely scary how long his reign in the AFL will go for. Will go down as one of the all time greats.
