Anyone know if our offer to TDK is heavily front loaded? e.g. average over a multi-year deal would be less than $1.4M a year? He looks a terrific jumping and tap ruckman based on his 2024 highlights. Even giving Witts / Goldstein a bath.

It wasn’t so long ago that we offered long term contracts on big money to the likes of Billings, Gresham, Dunstan & Coffield before they’d even established themselves.

I’m okay with 2 year contracts until the body of work is sustained.
Not trying to be negative but do you feel that way about Phillipou's apparent 2030 extension? He was great last year for ~6 games but his current "body of work" seems to be about the same as Hall in my opinion.

All the Bigfooty legends ( well in their own minds )

Simply not true.

I am in the gym 6 days a week, and I have never seen one of you feckers in there ONCE.......post a picture of some dumpy ****ers lined up in a donut shop and I would believe it!

Excellent summation.

Craig Hutchison said on Agenda Setters that NWM’s manager has missed a trick here and isn’t getting the best deal for his client.

Using the logic you have, Hutchison said he expects NWM to sign a contract with St Kilda for longer than 2 years for guaranteed money. Hutchison didn’t seem to like the idea of a short term contract with an extended option the player’s way.

I rate Hutchison. In terms of understanding the business of football he is very astute.

Hutchison also said the only way PA can facilitate a trade now is to convince Butters to be traded at the end of this year. Then use Butters as part of a swap for NWM, or to pass the draft picks on to St Kilda if Butters is traded to another club.

I thought it was very interesting to hear that view.
If Nas really leaves, we'll take Butters + Whitlock thank you very much. Maybe add Berry too!

it certainly pricked my ears. Hutchy is very very good in this space and is friendly with player managers.

Two Adelaide clubs coming hard for him as it is. Highly rated beyond our four walls.

My wife was a corporate lawyer for a long time. I went to lots of dinners and parties and never felt at home as someone who was bought up middle class and spent lots of time in the country. It actually repulsed me and made me feel inadequate at the same time somehow.

Watching people to remember which fork you are meant to be eating with and trying not to make a dick of yourself isn't fun to me. I'd rather go to the pub and play pool in all honesty. Maybe it says something about me but it's not my bag.

We still have corporate mates who don't like the OTT shows of elitism either so I don't know who it impresses.
Yep
I’m the guy at the fancy Asian restaurant who says “can I have a fork?”
I guess I’m less cultured but CGAF
Plus I get twice as much down with a fork as those turkeys on chopsticks

He will be a star. The thought of him and Nas together in the midfield gives me goosebumps.
