Trading Lever will be a mistake. What's even the point? To get a second rounder and some cap relief? That is loser footy!

In a club full of blokes who go missing when it matters or are too busy building their brand off-field, Lever is one of the few voices driving standards. He is one of the few players on gameday revving up teammates, organising behind the ball and dragging guys into shape.

You wouldn't be keeping him for his footballing ability, his best days are long gone. You keep him around to guide younger players during the rebuild.

He is a personality hire. But he is a guy you need to keep when you have list of soft passengers and introverts.

Sounds like things we could just get from an assistant coach tbh.

lol @ Mihocek, could our list management be any further from where it needs to be.

Let’s bring in a bloke to block all these young NQR tall forwards we have from getting experience just so we can finish 16th next year.

As bad as Fritsch can be at times, imagine how awful Mihocek would look with our delivery into the forward line.

Also he's 32 years old and it's not 2022. We should not be making "win now" list decisions
Daniher and Mihocek F50. GET EXCITED.

I really love Mihocek. Rate him massively. Love his effort and smarts.

I'd have loved him a few years ago but it's obvious we need to go younger and trade out mature players, not bring them in.

I'm only going to tell you this, because the usual suspects filling the thread with melts is not my responsibility - There's no actual connection to the Dees in the article other than Ralphie saying we would probably look at him and Gaddy Lyon saying saying we should look at him.

How do we know he is screaming out the right messages? Considering the low footy IQ he plays with, I reckon his 'leadership' is probably a hindrance more than anything.

Like he got dropped and he never saw it coming. That just shows that he's living in fairyland. He's been horrible for a couple of years.

My exact thoughts. It was only his view we’d go for him. He’s a bit old but a very fit unit. I reckon if we’re getting an experienced forward in I’d rather the crash and bash to take Petty’s spot.

Lol we been drafting crabs like Henderson, stkilda go to box hill and grab Hall who looks a gun

Feels like we have already given up on Hendo and he is just biding his time for a delist like half of our list are. 16 blokes out of contract and that’s not including the contracted players we want to trade either.

Standards... he's a traffic Cop.! Waves his hands about, and yelling at every one, but doesn't fix his poor football levels.

Crap one-on-one.
Just great at standing on his own, waving fists at everyone, and taking the occasional mark on his own.

Then just slows the show right down... stagnating our use of the footy.
