Crypto is only pseudonymous and on chain transactions are completely traceable to parties involved in the transaction.

The Club is clearly shaping for a reset of the list. Their confidence would be in their financial capacity and the discussions with players so I’m not sure there’s much that hasn’t been communicated by them that needs to be. The media on the other hand are trying to turn contract negotiations into a circus act of rumours, scuttlebutt and innuendo. How much of this is journos justifying their standing and employability in a gossip laden profession. Real sports journalism is very hard to find these days sadly.

Why are we discrediting the Wilkie interview - especially after the week he has had and the conversations he would have been apart of?

Ultimately the playing group probably knows **** all and we shouldn’t read or look into anything that was said last night.

Club isn't going to want to bar him from going after what happened with Battle last year, so i think they'll protect NWM this time.

It was pre-game talk on triple m. Was listening on radio via phone on way to dad's place to watch the game. Unfortunately don't have the recording.

My read on the tenor of the conversation was: Joey knows (the co-hosts intimated it with their banter), he has been sworn to secrecy and he understands how much the fan base is suffering so he said it in a way that doesn't give the game away but the astute would catch on to.

But, anyways, I guess Nas blinked twice when he referred to "the club"...

With respect to NAS, and I may be repeating what others are saying, but I’m choosing to believe the delay is because he is wrestling with the tenure of the contract, not whether he actually chooses to stay or go.

Family are heavily involved because they want to ensure it is right decision for all if it’s going to be a 4+ year deal and they effectively won’t see him in Adelaide permanently for a long (ish) time.

May explain the positive sentiment during week, and the somewhat tight lipped interviews pre and post game.

Trying to put a positive spin on it, for me it’s part of my coping mechanism

Because everyone is into micro analysing Nas' post game interview, I noticed he made reference to his "great manager". First time he has said something like that as normally just references "manager". Seems to me maybe the manager recently closed a deal for him?

Probably none of them know for sure. Just as likely. Maybe only his family know and that's it. But I think we'll find out soon after the season. He's played this very well and had to because they were coming at him from all angles.
