Sorry but these kind of tease posts really piss me off - especially with so much and so many peoples emotions riding on it.

If you’ve got something to say, say it.

I had the pleasure of being invited to the function at Sandringham today via a Twitter contact. An act of kindness and generosity by a lovely bloke.

I am not an ITK, just a an ordinary supporter. I have no inside knowledge about what is happening with NWM.

However there were St Kilda luminaries everywhere. I was rubbing shoulders with people I could only dream about meeting. It was fantastic.

No names. No pack drill.

But I was told by a few people that the situation with Nasiah is not decided. As one very well known St Kilda person told me, “there is still a lot to play out.”

The Manager continues to be a central part of matters that still need to be played out.

So, for those of you who are thinking it is definitely all over, it isn’t.

I don’t know what matters need to be played and what is happening behind the scenes. But that is what I know from today.

I have never posted something like this before and I doubt I will again. But I think this is all relevant information.

Good stuff. Cheers.

Neil is as genuine as they come as a supporter.

Replace "Martin" with "Williams":

I actually think it would be negligible list management for Port to trade for Nas given the holes in their list.

Realistically it’s going to cost them Bergman, Berry and a first. They can’t afford to lose talent as there is so little depth at that club. Adding generation talent is great but they’re so far off contending it’s not funny

Thanks for facts and honesty, not opinions and spin about what their body language may or may not have looked like.

Dude

It doesn't matter what Tony said.
I get especially the past week or some in the media with the whole wink wink nudge nudge think that he could be staying. History shows the longer it goes and also this late in the season that he probably will leave. I doubt he’d be undecided but that’s just a general feel

Look I’m not claiming it as my info. I’ve got it off someone who was there and had their own conversations.

I wouldn’t say it’s not great. I’d just say there is no apparent update/progress/outcome
Fair enough interpretation, my not great comment stems from same person messaging me this morning that he was staying only to message me during functions few hours later to say that is no longer definitive .

St Neil articulated accurately the situation as you have above a lot to play out but that is very different to him staying .

Thought experiment:

Is the optimism of the supporters of the two SA clubs that Naz is coming matched by the pessimism of our supporters that he’s leaving?

I don’t think so.

It all means SFA until there is an official announcement.
I heard the club will be holding the B&F during gather round next year.

Last night/this morning most posters here and everywhere thought he was gone.

The fact him staying is very much still in play is a very important piece of clarity.

People were judging body language and make assertions based on words he used or didn’t.

I still think he has verbally agreed to stay and still haggling of $ and length. I had a Deed of Settlement go back and forth for two-three months notwithstanding we had a heads of agreement but needed to properly articulate it in a Deed.
