Correct.

Twomey’s article mentioned many were either new or lapsed members.

That is really exciting.

We are seeing St Kilda’s large latent supporter base starting to engage again.

It’s the tip of iceberg, especially in Bayside Melbourne. There are Saints supporters everywhere.
We are one of the worst club at converting supporters to members. I know so many saints supporters that arnt members. If we get them onboard. Genuinely reckon we can crack 100k

I might have to walk the streets of Cairns in a lighty woven & breathable Saints jumper next year.
Sign up some foreign backpackers, their everywhere.

Good morning, here is a photo of an elephant drinking from 10 feet away at our accommodation last night.
Lighten the day for you lot working and shit.
It's a shame you couldn't afford the accommodation with the fencing around it, anyhow, make the best of things......

LOL, fair enough. Was something I needed to get off my chest!

The TLDR is that AFL journalists are not meeting basic journalism standards when reporting on contract negotiations. They are clearly repeating information being spoon fed to them by player managers who have direct financial interests in the outcome. The journalists don't declare where they are getting the information from - they give the player managers anonymity - and they don't independently verify the information from a second source before reporting it. Which is journalistic malpractice at best, and at worst is a form of corruption. And it has become such common practice nobody even notices anymore.
Any chance these journalists are also on the books of the player management companies? .... you scratch our back and we will scratch yours

Adam Treloar left out of Dogs team after 40 touches last week. OOC and I know he used to live in Bayside when he was at the Pies (Not sure if he still does or not). Only played 4 AFL games this year. Worth a look or is his body too cooked ??? Would be handy type for us for a year or two if his body can manage

Body cooked

"To put it in perspective, the best the club has done in an entire season in trying to acquire (new) members is 6000. We'll end up with two years worth of acquisition, obviously at a lower price, but that's the scale we're talking about in terms of the interest it's generated.

"It's off the charts."

Just incredible. If we can play well enough so half of those members to stay on, it would be incredible for the club.

Just to do a Flamingo on you it was mentioned that an ex player would like to come back to us if the option arose
Gah, its going to be Gresham, isn’t it? Hated by Dons fans. Well no thanks.

The only Ex-Saint still playing AFL that I'd be happy to have back is Ben Long. Out of the ones not currently in AFL clubs, I dont see why we'd do that.
