Re: 'Alleged' rumours resurfacing ...

Folks, this is the way things are here.

Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Simply put, don't be a dick.

Thanks all!

Anyone who was in doubt about TDK should now be in no doubt - he's gone.

That interview with him being so nervous, obviously emotional about his last game with the club weighing on him, and looked close to tears - he did not want to be anywhere near that interview.

The way Cripps was embracing TDK, it felt like a teary goodbye.

Yup, I thought Cripps’ comments further solidified things as well.

Don't blame tdk for going, it would be hard to say no to that sort of cash difference. It's pretty clear he loves the club and doesn't want to leave. Hope it doesn't work out badly for him. We should get fellow tom of the boyd variety to have a chat with TDK. He went to a much better environment than TDK is going and the contract broke him.

Well don’t go then….still getting $1m+ a year if he stays.

“They are just a no on Curnow, if it’s a Gulden or Heeney and that’s just to think about it but it’s a no on Curnow” - Jon Ralph just now on fox on Charlie. We aren’t trading Charlie or Harry.

Jon Ralph also said if Gov/Jack and TDK leaves we will have about $2mill in cap space.

We could trade the compensation picks to get a proven small forward or fill a need or trade up in the draft and still get Harry Dean. We are excited about the off season he said.

I'd prefer to keep Charlie but trading him for some 1sts to trade to Port for Butters could be desirable. They're about to rebuild and surely they'd rather get something this year vs. random compo next year. He fills a huge hole for us.

We could make do with a fwd line of Harry, Kemp, O'Keefe & Moir - fairly mobile & unpredictable, along with a more speedy midfield next year (Butters, Smith).
I like this scenario
