If Zane wants out, even though he has quality we should explore it. If him and picks getting used equal us getting Windhager and Wilson then it’s a no brainier imo. With everything at Saints and potentially getting Ryan, you wouldn’t think they could retain everyone. If we got them and a defender somehow we should be excited.

The culture is slowly changing for the better and if some players are not happy then l am all for them getting traded or leaving. There should be no more getting games of who you are or who you're friends with. You need to firstly earn your spot and then continute to play at a standard that will help you retain it. So if Duursma isnt happy , the ball is in his court. Hardeman has shown whats needed and l think Harvey is finally starting to realise it as well.

If I was rookie-ing a ruck. I’d go with Ajang Kual Mun from Port Melbourne VFL. Raw as, but is 206cm and has plenty of upside. Still only 22.


I reckon the aim with Phillips & Scott would be to get pick upgrades (even if it’s just a few pick spots), either that or future picks for points towards Harris/McCartney. Both of them would have a little bit of value even if uncontracted.

Yes. Anyone like the Kual Mun would be a good option.

Bailey is contracted until end of 2026, but not sure his value would be more than R3 or a pick upgrade.
Ask for players (Harvey Johnston? Alex Davies?) or upgrade picks like you said.

I'm pretty sure the exit meetings need to be completed within 2 or 3 days from the end of the season, has been like this for a while.

I just mean in totality. Like there's players like TDK already basically signing and other stuff a couple of days in.

I think last year I remember waiting ages for announcements but it's not like me to imagine things ;p

You'd have to go back to SOS's crazy period at Carlton when he took four from GWS in one trade.

Brisbane just need an experienced big-bodied KPF to replace Daniher.

They have done well this year to cover Daniher’s absence this year, but Allen would add a lot while Morris is developing.
