I think TDK is a solid player, and would have liked to keep him, but $1.7-$1.8m is way too much. He probably only just in top 10 ruckmen.

Agree with this, TDK is a quality player but it would not be best for Carlton to match what the Saints are offering

Blues are top heavy atm, decent compo for TDK lets the blues bring in some new faces and makes them look at game plan adjustments

There are a number of rule changes coming in., besides this one that will have an effect on ruckmen.

The likely rule changes including 5 on the bench suits a Marshall /TDK Combination as both are very mobile followers who can play around the ground.

Didnt want to lose him - but the money was way too good and tbh not worth that type of money. Great overhead mark but his hail mary center clearances causing turn over goals will not be missed.
