Mr.Bedford you have ignited the forum above reading all the posters since this framed response, another comment caught my attention from batfink and seeing you described a few previous posters as ‘ gutless turds’ , have you contradicted yourself with some rather sour posts in the past and deleted the history of them regarding the much maligned former All Stars coach?
For EB's sake they better hope the new coach proves to be up to the task.

So basically, every other senior league in Australia plays under one set of rules for timekeeping and the ball out of bounds and the SNFL play under another set of rules that were implemented without discussion after round 17 ie two rounds ago and mean that quarters are 6-9 minutes shorter. They can say whatever they like, they are the ones out of line with everyone else.

Correct me if I am wrong - is there a correlation in the league sliding in the ‘upto the umpire if they call time off or not ‘ and the now $10 streaming fee that’s been applied ? Is it a matter of less minutes for $10 or more minutes more of a cost ? Either way it’s a shambles of a mistake from HQ who we all thought had really tried to move the competition the right way and what a blip of a first week, not even an ounce of ownership in the above article either which is a raise of the eyebrows , can picture it this week with people timing the quarters … be interesting to see actually how long the ball is actually ‘in play’ with proper time on rules and even more interested to see the reserves ‘ball in play’ with flat 20s and 19s… which in my firm opinion as previously stated should be flat 25s

I find it hilarious that nepotism and the other St Paul’s nuff-nuffs keep deflecting to timekeeping. If any of the games were close than let’s discuss but you got 15 minutes back to drive home from NW which you complained about last week.
The reality is this finals series has four teams left all spending close to or over $200k a year on player payments. The best 4 teams are left which is going to be a great few weeks.
St Paul’s finished 2nd on the ladder last year, finished 2nd again this year, and still won’t make a grand final in either. That says plenty about their coach and on field leaders and is reflected in those complaining about travelling to NW and also the time on here. If they lose to an injury-riddled Springvale, it just proves how much their team shrinks in finals and how far off success that club really is under Scott.

As much as I disliked George from Springy when playing against him on the field, I have to give him a lot of respect the bloke isn't a spring chicken and keeps turning up when it matters.
Don't think anyone here has said that Chelt didn't deserve to win due to time keeping? But 24-30 minutes of less football absolutely could have an impact on any game.
Finishing 2nd in any season is a great result and quite the opposite to what your insinuating about the coach and the leadership........

$200k is incorrect it's just a throwaway line by someone not involved.
Could some officials run cash through a business ? and then illegal payments to players, doesn't all have to go through a treasurer etc , maybe happens in ammo's as well
Yeah i tend to agree with this Bedders, was it Nick's problem / fault that the Vamps had a dodgey treasurer, had allot of injuries, a couple couldn't play due to work commitments, and some players who sooked up when it got tough !!!!!!

I think Bedders is talking about coach pre Nick but where there is smoke there is fire re the treasurer.
Mail is the Nick was out of hs depth in div 1 and he was the one who sooked it up.

For what it’s worth Not sure what a dodgy treasurer has to do with a senior coaches win/loss record? That responsibility is with the coach and coach only, with a list loaded to the eyeballs on big dollars, but going through the lists week to week , doesn’t seem to be many big names missing in Jewells 11 game reign this season with a brief look of the teams? Unsure who their middle to lower tier players are but household names look regular on the sheets…Maybe you/ he is counting the top tier players who walked out the door in/ off season rumoured to be because of Jewell… not sure you can count them. Anyhows too much air time wasted on an individual with a rap sheet bigger than Texas let’s give the current playing clubs and coaches the deserved airtime , as it turned out Jewell’s All Stars were just a number to fill in the fixture week to week which gave us a good debate on this forum and around all grounds

Dingley - recruited heavily and looked the best team by far all year
Would be shattering for them if they don’t confirm there dominance and go straight into the GF?
Cheltenham- reigning back to back premiers used to winning but most have written them off all year. Will be desperate to send their coach off with another flag
StPauls- also recruited strongly and under coach Scott are 0-3 in finals . Couldn’t go out on straight sets !
Districts- Got the 2 superstars in Martin and Sketcher and also bolstered their mid tier players.
Is this the last roll for those 2 stars ?
